Epilogue

*six months later*

I drink from the mocha in front of me while I listen my friends talk. We've been sitting in this Krispy Cream for almost two hours, talking about anything that we want.

"We have got to get tickets to see them!" Says Michael, after taking a bite of his chocolate donut.

"Mike, first we need to see if we don't have a gig, or a meet n' greet..." Says Ash as he leans on the table.

"Or a date..." Says Luke, winking.

"Let me guess... You have one with Janet..." Asks Mikey as he raise his eyebrows.

Luke started dating Janet a couple of months ago, and they're quite steady. They met at a gig, and just like that, Lunet happened... Yes, we have shipping names.

"Yep..." Luke answers with a huge smile.

"Ash... Tell me you're free..." Mikey says as he looks at Ashton hopefully.

"Sorry, I'm having dinner with Ari and her family..." Ash answers with a sympathetic smile.

"Then I'll have to call Lili..." Michael says giving up, forgetting I'm here.

"Why didn't you say that in the first place?" Ash asks Mikey.

"Bros before girls..." Michael answers with his mouth full.

Mikey met a girl too. Her name: Liliana Acosta (ring a bell?)... They match perfectly. After her graduation Michael bumped into her at the restaurant. They started talking, and you know the rest.

Luke nudges my shoulder, so I look at him.

"Have you talked to her?" He asks, concern all over him.

My answer: sigh and shrug

"Mate, you'll have to tell her sooner or later..." Says Michael looking straight at me.

"I know, I just don't know how..." I say as I sink on my seat.

"Just try..." Says Ashton giving me the same look the others are giving me.

"*sigh* I'll see what I do... See you guys later..." I say as I smile at them and stand up. 

I go to the counter, and get the other order I had before leaving the store.

"Tell us how it goes!" Says Mikey as I open the door. I let out a chuckle.

I've been trying to avoid talking about this. Truth is, I don't know how these things work. I'm scared that I will fuck things up.

I get in my car and drive home, thinking of how the hell I'm going to do this. I quickly get to the apartment complex, and get out of my car with the food. I take the stairs trying to calm myself down. When I get to my door, I shuffle with the keys, until I manage to unlock the door and get inside.

I put the keys on the hanger, and proceed to take my coat off. I put the coat on the handle, and take a look at the apartment. The walls are white. Just as you enter you have the living room; a black sofa, a coffee table, and a TV decoring it, along with a bookshelf and some pictures on the walls.

I smile at my resting/Netflix place, and then head to the kitchen. I get to the fridge and grab a water bottle. Then I take a plate and a mug. I take the glazed donut and put it on the plate, and pour the hot chocolate in the mug. Just as I open my water bottle, I hear some tiny footsteps approaching. I smile before turning around.

"Have you missed me?" I ask as I get down.

"*bark* *bark*" Speaks my pug, Cooper, as he twirls.
