Meet The Parents

Julie's POV

I woke up this morning early because I was going to Bradford to meet Zayn's parents and I'm really nervous. I get out of bed and jump in the shower. I get out and wrap a white towel around my body. I dry off and walk into Zayn's room. His room connects with my bathroom. 

"Baby, can you help me pick out an outfit" I ask him

"sure babe" he says walking over and tapping my ass lightly. 

We walk into my room and into my closet. He decided on my black shirt that says Bring Me The Horizon on it with the band members faces on the front. a pair of navy blue skinny jeans and my black converse. I brush my hair and brush my teeth and we go downstairs to say goodbye. 

I walk over to Liam first. 

"I'm gonna miss you Li" i say hugging him. 

"I'll miss you to hun"

Next, Louis

"Bye Louis, be good while I'm gone" I say hugging him. He picks me up and kisses my forehead.

"I won't do anything stupid until you return" he says laughing

Then, Harry

"Keep an eye out on Louis for me" I say hugging him

"I will, I promise" he says holding me

Now, Niall.

"Bye" I say and move on to my uncle.

"Bye Uncle Paul, I'll miss you" I say hugging my uncle

"I love you baby, have fun, be safe" he says hugging me and I walk out the door closing it behind me and walking to Zayn's car. I see a text from Niall as I'm getting in the car. It reads, "please text me when you arrive so I know you got there ok." I turn my phone off and ignore the text. 

"so, babe, how long until we get to Bradford" I ask messing with the radio.

"About a couple hours sweetheart" he says taking my hand and kissing it.

I close my eyes leaning back in the seat and listening to the song The Grey by Icon For Hire

I feel the car pull over and were at a gas station. I look over and Zayn is not in the car and I assume he stopped to go to the bathroom. I get out and stretch and walk into the store. I buy myself a thing of pringles and a pineapple flavored soda. I cash out and I see Zayn on the phone in the car. I open the door and get in.

"Hey baby" I say smiling

"Hey Hun" he says hanging up the phone.

"who was that" I ask

"Your uncle, he wanted to know how far we got" he says.

Zayn's POV

Julie fell asleep and we have been driving for an hour and a half. I pull over in a gas station to fill up and go pee. I get back to the car and Julie is not there. As I'm waiting for her to come back Paul calls. He asks us how far we got. I love Julie and I just want to be with her 24/7. I see her walking back to the car and when she gets in I hang up. 

I start driving when we finally enter Bradford. I pull up in front of the family home and park the car. I look over and see Julie sleeping. I wake her up and tell her that we arrived. She sits up and I take her hand and lead her into the house. 

"Mom, Dad, were here." I yell into the house. I hear girly screams and I see my three sisters running downstairs. Julie goes quiet when her anxiety kicks in so I know she must be really freaking out right now. I see her back up a bit and my sisters jump on me hugging me

"Hey guys" I say hugging my sisters. I look up and see my Mom and Dad standing in front of us. 

"Zayn, honey your home" my mom says hugging me.

"Mom, Dad, this is Julie" I say tugging Julie in front of me

"Hi" she says quietly

"It's so nice to finally meet you Julie" My dad says hugging her. She hugs back but pulls away quickly.

My sisters take Julie and show her our room. 

Julie's POV

I'm in mine and Zayn's room and his sisters are helping me settle in. 

"I'm Safaa" his younger sister says

"I'm waliyha" the second youngest says

I'm Doniya" his older sister says.

They sit me down and start talking with me. 

"So, Julie, hows life dating my brother" Safaa asks me

"It's good, but I still have insecurities." I say bringing my head down.

"Like what kind" Doniya asks

"I'm always afraid that I'm going to fall so madly in love with him that one day he might go behind my back and hurt me" I say.

Waliyha puts her arm around me and gives me a reassuring hug. 

"Julie, there may be rumors that go around that some people believe and when he broke up with his ex everyone thinks that he'll hurt another girl. It's all in the whole idea of can you handle the fame" Donyia says to me.

"I do love your brother, and I would do anything to never lose him.

"I like you Julie, you are really smart and mature. You understand there are sacrifices that need to be made and  that things happen but as long as your both strong you can do it." Waliyah says.

We continue talking until I hear a familiar voice from behind the closed door. 

"Hey, stop stealing my girlfriend and let me see her" Zayn says laughing. He comes in and picks me up and runs downstairs with me. 

"Son, you need to let her walk, I don't think she wants to be swept off her feet quite yet" his dad Yaser says laughing

He puts me down and we all sit down to eat dinner. I start having questions thrown at me but one question in particular really hit me, Zayn's dad asked me about my family life after I lost my parents. I excused myself and walked outside onto the front porch. I put my head in my hands and cry. I feel an arm go around me but this arm was thin and not muscley. I look up and see trisha there. 

"I'm sorry, I never meant to be rude" I say wiping my eyes. she pulls me into her and holds me as I break down again. 

"No Julie, were sorry, we didn't know it was such a rough topic for you" his mom said shushing me calming me down. I miss having the mom figure around. 

"I miss my parents" I say crying

"I know it's hard love, but you can always consider us your family love" she tells me

I smile up at her and give her a big hug. 

She leads me into the house and the girls are doing dishes, Zayn's in the bathroom and Yaser  comes up to me and apologizes.

"Julie, hun, I'm sorry I asked that, it was really personal" he says hugging me.

"It's alright Yaser" I say hugging him back. We all go upstairs to lie down for bed. 

"goodnight you two" Trisha says hugging us and going into her room. Zayn walks me into our room and we lie down cuddling. 

"Baby girl, I love you" Zayn says holding me

"I love you too babe" I say holding him.

i hear my phone going off and see my uncle calling.

J- Hey Uncle

P- hey sweetie hows it going

J- it's good, I miss you

P- I miss you too honey

J- I love you and I'll talk to you tomorrow

P- alright honey, goodnight

I hang up and crawl back into bed with Zayn. This is going to be a good week, I hope.
