Figuring Things Out and Going To Court

Julie's POV

I must have fallen asleep because I open my eyes and it's 10;15 int he morning. I have court today with Uncle Paul. Uncle is bringing all the papers saying he got me legally. I hope he wins this court case. I sit up and put some nice clothes on for once, because it's court. I go downstairs and see my uncle dressed up waiting for me. I say goodbye to all the boys including Niall. Niall is deciding to move back in and I couldnt be more proud. I walk outside and get into my uncles car, and here we go.

Paul's POV

I'm really nervous about today, I don't want to lose my niece. Her birthday is coming up soon and It's the first one i get to spend with her in years. I pull up to the court house and we park the car and walk in. I feel Julie take my hands which reassures me that she wants to stay too.We sit down waiting for our case to be called and finally I hear our case called and Julie and I walk up to one stand and her foster parents were at the other.

"Paul Higgins, do you swear to tell he truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, so help me god" the judge asks

"Yes your honor." I say standing up.

He calls Julie and both her parents to the stand. He's easy on Julie because she's still a young girl and I know this judge, hes a real softy with kids.

"Juliette, do you know why your here today" the judge asks her calmly.

"Yes sir" she says shyly. My poor baby is nervous.

"Can you tell us why you wish to stay with your uncle hun" he asks

"I wish to stay with my uncle because he is family. He is the only person I have left. When I lost my parents I was sent to live with those clowns over there. He would do unspeakable things to me and she knew all about it. you can call the hospital here in town and ask I've had a rape kit done back in North Dakota and it was sent over here. My uncle loves me and wants whats best for me and wants to watch me grow and flourish. He loves me and I love him. Maybe I deserve a woman figure in my life and I do have one." She says getting worked up.

I can see the judge starting to tear up. I look around and see Annie from the restaurant walking over to the stand with Julie.

"This is Annie. She is a waitress over at Nandos over in town. This woman loves me. She didn't know me from a whole in the wall but I had her number from when she was working and gave it to me. She loves me like when my mother was still alive. I have the man and woman figure in my life, and I REFUSE to let that be taken away because those jack offs over there want custody of me back" she says and sits down.

The whole room is quiet and the judge leaves to go make his verdict. He has a security guard watching over Julie's foster parents because of whats happened. The judge comes back and we listen to what he has to say.

"Mr. Higgins, I hear by grant all custody rights to you and Annie over here." he says.

Julie looks over at Annie and smiles. Annie really does like Julie and I really like Annie. We walk out of the court room and Annie comes over for a little bit. I want to ask her out tonight when we get home.

We arrive at home and Zayn and Niall are the first ones out. Julie runs over to both of them and hugs them tight.

Julie's POV

I can stay with my Uncle and I'm so happy. I am hugging all those boys super tight. I give them each a kiss on the cheek and Zayn pouts when I don't make out with him. I pull him into a long kiss and my uncle clears his throat behind me.

"Honey, lets go in and talk" he says.

We all know what this is for and we all sit in the living room. I sit on Zayns lap, Annie and my uncle are sitting next to each other. The other boys are sitting on the floor in front of us.

"Sweetheart, I know you don't want to talk about this but, we need to sweetie" My uncle says

"I know we do uncle" I say lowering myself into zayn.

"What do you want to do" he asks me

"I think, I'm going to keep it. I could never abort a baby, its still half mine no matter what. I could also never go for adoption, because I was put up for adoption when I lost my parents and I could never do that to my baby. I will keep it and raise it as my own." I say

"An i will be there to help you, every step of the way" Zayn says kissing me.

All the others agree. I see my uncle getting down on one knee in front of Annie and she coves her mouth in shock.

"Annie, I really like you, I do please do me the honors of being my girlfriend" he says cheesily.

"I will" Annie says.

I smile because now I have an aunt and an uncle. I hug Annie and she tells me she loves me. That makes me smile and hug her tighter.

"Now that we have everything figured out I have an announcement" I say getting everybody's attention.

"What is babe" zayn says laughing at my enthusiasm.

"I'm pregnant" I say busting into a fit of laughter.

Everyone starts laughing and I walk upstairs with Zayn to lie down.

"Baby, you seem happy to be having this baby" Zayn says

"well, to be honest, i got pregnant in one of the worst ways and I hate it but I have always wanted to be a mom" I explain

He nods his head and hugs me tight.

I'm sorry zayn" I say

"for what love" he says

"For this not being our baby" I say crying

He holds me tight

"Honey, this is our baby, I will never consider this child his. This is our son or daughter and I will love him or her everyday for the rest of it's natural life" he says

I nod my head and lay my head on his chest. He wraps his arms around me and sings to me one of their songs. It's called You and I and I loved it. I love when he sings to me. It's amazing. I notice what time it is and I get into a pair of shorts and a tank top and I lay back down and fall asleep.

Zayns POV

Julie is fast asleep and to be honest. I don't want to have to deal with a child that's not mine but if I tell her that I'm fucked.
