The News, Good or Bad?

Julie's POV

I woke up this morning feeling sick to my stomach and I got out of bed and ran to the bathroom. I heard small whimpering coming from the bedroom area and I stood up to go check it out. I saw Kennedy lying in her sleeping bag on the floor and she was tossing and turning. I watched as she shot up taking in big breaths. I got down next to her and pulled her into my lap.  I rubbed her back and played with her and she fell back to sleep. I laid her next to Luke and made coffee for the adults and chocolate milk for her. I got her sippy cup and 3 mugs for me, Ashton, and Luke. I woke up the boys and Kennedy and I sat her on Ashton's lap and he was poking her belly and making her giggle. 

"SO, whats the plan for today" i ask no one in particular.

"I figured the 3 of us could go out to the park for today and get to know our new daughter" Luke says sipping his coffee.

"That sounds like fun" I say getting up to dress. Luke decides to dress Kennedy so I can focus on getting ready. 

I throw on a T-shirt with a pair of jeans and I run out the door with Luke and Kennedy. We were walking to the park and when we got there Kennedy squealed and took Luke by the hand and ran with him over to the swings. I sat on the bench next to the swings. I was watching my boyfriend and daughter playing on the swings when I heard my phone go off. 

When I looked at who was calling it said Alice. 

(A-Alice,J-Julie)

A- girl, have you seen the news

J- no, why

A- you might want to, you, Luke, and Kennedy are on there and it's not good.

J- Alice what the hell was on the news

At this point I'm kind of worried. Alice is my friend from North Dakota by the way.

A- the news is saying that, you and Luke broke up and that Kennedy is going off to some foster center.

J- Alice, were going to North Dakota tomorrow, can you watch Kennedy for me please? I think me and Luke need to set some things straight with the media

A- Of course, she's my god daughter. I 'd love to watch her for you guys.

J- thanks girl, I'll see you when we land

With that I hung up and I put my head in my hands. I felt hands round my back and I just cried. I knew the smell of cologne and I knew it was my dad. I gripped onto him for dear life and He rubbed my back and held me. He must have seen the news. 

"Dad what the hell is going wrong in my life" I ask sobbing

"Honey, you know the pappz will say anything to get a new story hot on the press." He says as I cry more.

"By ruining our lives? Dad, if this is the price of being famous then, I might be moving back with Alice. I've known her since we were in diapers and she loves Kennedy." I say sitting up.

"I know this is hard, but, think about it, if you leave Luke will be so hurt. Kennedy will be away from her daddy and Luke will be away from his girlfriend. Think about the big picture baby girl. How would you feel if you couldn't see me anymore" he asks

I put my head down and I felt him kiss my head and he walked off. I saw him playing with Kennedy and Luke. my whole family, my whole world, in one picture. Could I really ever think of separating them? I walked back to the hotel thinking. I walked in and no one was in the room so I jumped in the shower and let the hot water relax my muscles. 

"Julie" I hear a voice calling my name. 

It was a woman's, I get out and wrap a towel around me. I get out and as I walk into the living room there is a young woman with brown hair and blue eyes. She looks kind of transparent. I looked at her and passed out. I don't know where I am. It's dark but I hear my name. I see something. It's that woman. 

"Who are you" I asked scared. 

"Honey. it's mommy, your real mom" she says reaching for my hand. 

I didn't know what to say, I was shocked. I was an infant when they died. I never even got to see pictures. I fall to my knees looking at her. She takes my hand and pulls me into a hug. 

"Why is it dark?" I ask 

"honey, you passed out. The stress, you couldn't take it. but you need to wake up now baby girl, you have to. The boys need you. The family needs you, plus you have a special visitor. No matter what, I'm always by your side baby girl" She says

"Wait, whats your name" I ask 

"Everleigh" and with that she left.

I feel hands on me and a bright light surrounds me. I see Luke and my dad sitting on my bed and Kennedy sitting on uncle Liam's lap. 

"Daddy" i manage to squeak out.

I feel arms around me and tears going down my neck. I know by now my dads crying and so is Luke. 

'What happened" I ask not quite sure myself.

I was told what happened and I just laid there and closed my eyes. I was weak and tired. The boys missed there Ohio show for me and we were leaving to go to North Dakota. I was able to fly but the boys weren't sure. I got u and started walking to the plane and Luke was carrying me. I curled into his chest. Everything was in the car we just had to go to the airport. I decided to take a  nap to get some rest before arriving in North Dakota. I texted Alice the details and I fell asleep on the seat in the plane. I hope things go better than they did.
