The last bell rang and all of my classmates had immediately stormed out of the room, the teacher in front fixed her things and exited the room as well. School's fine, I guess. Terrence and I are on the same class, everyone was nice but since I have transferred in the middle of the semester, they've already got their own circle of friends and it's kinda really awkward to talk to them and be friends with them. I sighed, grabbing my bag and walked out of the room. Terrence then appeared right in front of me with a huge smile plastered on his face, he removed his sunglasses and I rolled my eyes as he raised his eyebrows up and down while looking at me.
I smacked him on the face, "Stop doing that. It's annoying." I say as I hug my book and walked ahead of him. He chuckled, following behind me and throwing an arm around my shoulders.
"How's your first day of school so far?"
I faked a laugh as I looked up to him, "Are you serious? But it's quite good."
"Have you made friends with anyone already?"
"Shut up, Rence." I called him by his nickname. "It is not that easy."
"But Duke is a nice guy," he replied as I shot him a death glare. Duke was my seatmate and I really don't like him. I know it from the first time I have laid my eyes on him.
"Yeah, if you want him to take my virginity."
He face palmed himself making me giggle. "I forgot he's a player."
I stopped walking, turning my body to face him with a smile on my face. "Don't worry about me, Rence. Besides I already have you, if we weren't in the same class then you must really worry."
He laughed. "You're right, I've forgotten that you're a tough girl. You're way more tough than any of the boys here!"
I just rolled my eyes on him as we made our way to the parking area, he told me that my mom had asked him to drive me back and forth to school. I know she's concerned about me and I really appreciate that, but totally not in this way. She's really treating me like a baby.
Terrence had opened the door for me and smiled, I groaned in disgust while he giggles before I hopped in. He ran around his car, winking to some girls walking here in the parking lot before slipping into the driver's seat. I fastened my seatbelt as this guy beside me started humming, "So tell me boy, do you have a girlfriend right now?"
He choked, and stared at me like he just saw something that isn't human. "What?" I raised a brow at him.
"No," he shook his head as he started the car, looking at me one more time then he stepped on the gas shaking his head from side to side.
"No?" I repeated then he nodded. "Seriously? Why? I mean, you're attractive, you could have any girl you want. No one could ever resist a guy like you, just in case you did not know."
He smirks, glancing at me then back ahead of the road. "Does 'no one' includes you?"
I was silenced and blushed a little, I bit my tongue as I turned my whole focus on the road. Suddenly, I heard Terrence laughing.
"You should have seen your face," he said in between his laughter. "It was priceless!"
"Shut up." I glared at him. "But I am serious, why haven't you dated anyone yet?"
"I'm waiting for someone who has been away from me for so many years, but now we've reunited."
He replied so seriously and I really don't know what to tell him after that, he smiled as I leaned back on the seat and turned his focus back on the road.
"I guess the long wait is over," he adds in which had made me swallow.
He is not talking about me, is he?
