"We will be having a laboratory experiment for tomorrow, and I'll give you the print outs so you can study it at home. As for the new student, Ms. Gilbert-" I stood up from my chair and walked over to the teacher's desk as she flashes me a smile. "I will have you paired up with um..."
"Ma'am! I would like to be her pair!" A girly voice had shouted and I turned around to see Leslie standing behind me, I frowned. "Aw don't make that face! Aren't you glad I volunteered to be your partner?" She winks at me and I cringed.
"I'd have another partner, I really think the experiment would turn into a big disaster if we are to be partners." I suggested earning a little laughter from the witch behind me.
"Are you psychic?" Leslie giggles. "I was just thinking of a way on how I could make this the last experiment you will ever do, cause I really don't want you to stay in this school any more longer."
"Too bad, my dad was one of the investors of this school. And I think they would be too scared to even try to kick me out of this school, honey." Leslie's jaw dropped down to the ground as I gave her a pat on the head and laughed in victory before leaving her standing in front of the class.
"That's my girl!" Terrence winks at me as I get seated and I roll my eyes. "Where'd that come from? Is that even true?"
"Yeah, dad seems to be investing money to this school. I overheard them talking about it, and that is why he had me transferred here! My mom was not really cool about it though."
"I see." All of a sudden, he started nudging me. "We're friends, aren't we? We're good," he winks.
"Pfft, cut it out. I can't do that, asking anyone from the staffs of the school or the principal to drop someone out of school, that is." I replied.
"Then are you okay with Leslie? I can ask Mrs. Sullivan to switch partners, I could ask her to make me your partner for the lab."
"No need, I'll be okay. Leslie's not really hard to deal with, she's good with her words but too afraid to even put them into action. I'm going to have fun with her being my pair," I winked and Terrence laughed.
"You're evil," I laughed along with him. "You're pure evil and my bestfriend."
-
"So you've talked with the boys of Before You Exit huh?" Terrence asks as we were on our way home from school. We didn't stop over to any ice cream shops today since I'm saving up money to buy a ticket for tomorrow, oh gosh I can't wait to see Yojan! I am missing that girl so much! "Are you ready to see Toby one more time?"
"Yes," I nodded. "And didn't I tell you? We're going out together somewhere the day after the show."
"Woah wait what?" He gasped. "You're going out with him? Like on a date?"
"Hmm," I tilted my head to the side. "I don't think it's a date. Maybe just to kill some time since it's a day off, and maybe he just missed taking me out."
"Toby has been taking you out on dates?!"
"No!" I retorted. "Ugh, what I mean is.. this is hard and going to be one real long story. Toby and I had this weird relationship-"
"Oh I hope this isn't like the sexual rela-" I smacked him on the head, "What the hell was that for?!"
"What makes you think that it'd be that type of relationship?" I shouted.
"I was just guessing!"
"Well it's nothing like that!" I crossed my arms over my chest and sighed. "A year ago, I was really desperate in finding for a perfect boyfriend and hired him as my coach. Toby taught me how to act like lady, think like a lady - how to be a real lady in general. While we're on it, he had taken me to places where couples would usually go for dates. Sometimes we'd even follow Yojan and Riley without letting them know when they go out on a date," I laughed when I remembered those happy moments with Toby.
