Toby stepped on the break just as the light turns red. Grasping the seatbelt and gulping from time after time, I kept my head low. I couldn't look at him in the eye. I heard his fingers drumming on the wheel while humming a song, I've never heard of that melody before so it must be their new song. I turn my head to the side and was surpised to see rain droplets from the window. I didn't notice it was raining... it has always been like this. It is always like this. Whenever I'm with Toby, I always fail to notice everything else around me for my eyes were only set on this guy sitting next to me.

"I-I heard from Yojan.." I have decided to break the silence and slowly looked at him. Toby was playing with his bottom lip as he turns his head to his right to look at me.

"Heard what?" He asks.

"That you and Ayesha are over, is it true?"

"Oh," he sighs and I decided not to ask any more questions. His face is showing such a sad expression, he's showed this expression to me back when Yojan was hurting because of Riley and from that, I could tell that he deeply cares about his bestfriend. For him to make this expression once again and because of Ayesha, he must really love her so much. Lucky girl.

"She wanted me to quit," he spoke which made me jump. I don't expect him to tell me anything but I sat there and listened anyways. "She wanted me to leave the band just because she couldn't stand not seeing me anymore for half a month," Toby continues as the light turns back into green and quickly steps onto the gas.

Excuse me? Ayesha has broken up with Toby just because he's going on tour and had to be away from her for half a month? They have been dating for who knows how long and Toby has been doing that ever since, why did she have to ask of that right now?

"I thought that she has always supported my band.." Toby whispers, and I could hear a hint of sadness from the tone of his voice. "I never thought I'd ever hear her say that it wasn't the best so I should just quit," he finished.

"I shouldn't have asked, I-I'm sorry.." I whispered.

Toby giggles, shaking his head and ruffling my hair. "Nah, don't be. It already happened, there's nothing for you to apologize."

"A-are you okay? I mean, I know you love her so much so-"

He cuts me off. "I love her, but I love music as well. I tried taking her back but she thinks that it won't sail smoothly anymore and asked me to forget about everything."

Toby doesn't deserve this.

"For a second I thought, she was the one that I've been waiting for," he smirks. "But she ridiculed my band and my brothers... I just couldn't take it."

I thought Ayesha wasn't that type of girl; someone with an angelic face and heart melting smile couldn't possibly have that trait but I was deceived by her just like this guy beside me who now has got a broken smile and a broken heart. I don't know everything but I know that Toby is hurting, he probably never thought that Ayesha could ever be like that and that is what hurting him the most. The car had suddenly stopped and Toby looked over me with a forced smile on his face, oh God knows I hate seeing him like this.

"We're here," he said.

"Eh? H-how do you know my address?" I asked.

"Your friend told me back there at the venue, do you have an umbrella? The rain is really pouring down," he reaches out from the back seat probably searching for an umbrella.

"No it's okay! I can run from here." I smiled, "Besides I have my bag, I can use this to cover my head."

"Or you can have my jacket," Toby chuckles as he removes his jacket and handed it to me.
