YOJAN'S P.O.V.
Sun is out and I'm feeling okay, hope you have a really good day!
Now I know that is really weird, but I am happy to start my day off with a really good song; and because of my boyfriend who just sent me a good morning message. I know that Riley is awfully busy that he barely gets enough of sleep, so I extremely appreciate it that he never forgets me.
Riley knew how deep the scar was, and so he is really making all the effort to prove to me that what happened before, will never happen again. As for me, I did change. I believed in him more and trusted him now more than I ever did. We decided to never keep any secrets from each other, that way.. this relationship will sail smoothly.
Enough intro, Riley is now calling me on FaceTime and I quickly sat up from my bed. Sliding my thumb across the screen as his beautiful face popped into it.
"Hi!" I greeted.
Riley gave me a smile in return, but he stayed silent. He was just looking at the screen which by now is showing my not-washed-face but he was smiling.
"Babe..?" I called, waving to the screen but Riley just chuckled. What is happening? Is it my internet connection? Could Riley be actually talking to me but my internet has got some problem? No, but he chuckled... what in the world..?
"Riles..?" I called his name once more. "Is everything okay? Can you hear me?" I moved my head from the either side as I asked "Can you see me move? Where-"
"I can see you, love." I froze when he finally spoke from the screen, followed by soft giggles. I turned beet red.
"I just like staring at you, Yojan. There really is no way that I can ever get enough of you." Riley added in as my heart begins to race. I am having palpitations over here and my boyfriend does not even care about it.
"Why weren't you speaking?"
Riley stands up from where he was seated, as the camera shows the ceiling of his home. He was walking and carefully sits down his phone on something. After a few more seconds, he appeared with a guitar in his hands. I swallowed, is this really what I'm thinking?
Riley shoots me a glance with another loving smile. Oh he's so beautiful.. how can there be such a human as angelic as he is. Lucky is the girl who has won his heart.. and that girl is me.
"I was sitting here and thought of you, Yojan, by hearing this song.."
Riley began strumming his guitar. He is already my boyfriend and yet, it is like he was still pursuing me. He has never done this to me ever before.. this makes it the first time. Because, all I know he's done for me were.. a) reserving a restaurant just for the two of us b) date nights c) dancing together d) making a fool out of me; but that was already in the past. The only person who ever sang for me until today was, Connor. I am fully aware that the love of my life is in a band where he is the lead vocalist, and hey.. out in the public, he is the Riley McDonough. And right now -although we are just talking through the phone- in front of me, he is just another romantic man who wants to serenade his girlfriend, as it is what he thinks she deserves.
