EVETTE'S P.O.V
Waking up at 2 AM and feeling dead hungry is the one thing I really hate the most.. sigh, everybody is sound asleep while I am here, roaming around the bus and finding for anything I can chew on.
"Love is an open door!" I sang, opening up the fridge. I giggled softly to myself, gee I don't even know...
"Hungry, huh?" I spin around only to see Toby standing before me. He's on his sweat shirt and pants, he is still hugging on his pillow though. This child..
I smiled, closing the fridge with my foot as I gently placed my food right on the table. "I'm betting you're the same, and that's why you're here."
Toby gently brushed his hair with his hand, putting his pillow down on the chair as he sits on the other. "What else are we waiting for?" He grinned.
I laughed, sitting down as well as we both begin to have our midnight snack. This is not the first time that I am having my midnight snack with Toby. Three years ago, back in Orlando, he would always call me up this late just for a McDonald's run. I really wonder sometimes, what kind of a monster is living inside of Toby's stomach? Gee...
"What?"
"Huh?"
Toby playfully slapped my face. "Why are you looking at me like that?"
I blushed. Was I really staring at him? I was just remembering the moments we have had back in Orlando three years ago! To hide my embarrassment, I took a spoonful of my cereal but the guy in front of me suddenly bursted out in laughter.
"Wot?"
He carefully leaned in which surprised the life out of me but I couldn't back away. My body did not move a muscle at all. Then Toby tucked my hair behind my ear as he gently wipes off the side of my mouth. He smirks. "You're cute."
That's it!
I backed away from him, wiping my mouth with my one hand as the blood came rushing through all over my face. This guy will surely be the death of me! How can he get so close to me and tell me sweet nothings?! Toby is dangerous...
However, I calmed down when I faced my right. Outside were Ria and Connor, sitting down on the sand. They were facing the sea, but I think Connor is playing on his guitar by the way how his hands are moving. I didn't know they were still awake.
"What are you looking at- oh," Toby whispered and saw the other two by the sea. "Do you want to join them?"
"Huh? Oh no, they seem to be having fun but I don't really wanna join them. I'm fine here..." I smiled.
Will it be bad of me to pray for those two to end up together? I mean.. I don't really wanna force anyone to date, however, Ria and Connor looked really good together. It's kind of hard to explain but I think Ria is the person Connor has been waiting for all his life. I know what he has gone through, and now.. he really deserves to be happy and take all the love that is for him.
"Do you know?" Toby suddenly talked. "He's still in love with Yojan."
I straightened my back in surprise, directly looking into Toby's eyes as he nods his head.
"I couldn't even imagine how hard it is for him to see the person he loves with somebody else, almost every day. And she is with his brother of all people.. I don't think I can handle that.."
I turned my stare back to them who were still seated on the sand. I let what Toby just told me sink in. I know how Connor feels.. I mean, I have been there. The moment I realized that I was in love with Toby, was the time that Ayesha had come back to Orlando for him. I watched him being all lovey-dovey with somebody else. But, Connor's situation is far more difficult than mine. Connor has been holding himself back.. he has been loving Yojan for years now. I'm pretty sure he wanted to try and take her back but he couldn't. He knows how much Riley and Yojan love each other, after all, it was not all that easy for them too. Connor knows that, he witnessed how the two of them fought for their love and couldn't get in between them.
