A whole month has passed. No signs of Courtney, still. Her mother put on an investigation, and full search. They haven't found Courtney, yet. Rayan, Carmen, and her father still were devastated over the situation, but was still determined to find Courtney.
"Who would wanna take my baby?" Carmen murmured, sniffling. "Detective Stevenson, are you okay?" her co-worker, Tasha asked. "Oh yeah, I'm fine Tasha." she smiled. Tasha smiled back, and walked off. Carmen, then gathered her work kit, and headed for home. She stopped by Sabrina's babysitter, Selena's house to pick up Sabrina.
"Hey Carmen, you okay?" Selena asked. Carmen nodded, wiping the smeared eye liner. "I heard about Courtney," Selena remorsefully said. Carmen sighed. "I know, I know," she sighed. "We're gonna find her Carmen, don't give up faith," Selena sternly said. Carmen nodded, and Selena pulled her into a hug. Carmen lashed out on her shoulder, sobbing greatly on her.
"It's okay Carmen, it's okay," Selena said slowly. Carmen nodded, and wiped her eyes. The two of them walked to the room where Sabrina was playing her toys. "Hey Sabrina," Carmen called out. Sabrina stood up, and sprinted to her mother. Carmen picked her up, and hugged her closely. "Remember, if you need anything, then call me," Selena put Sabrina's bag over Carmen's shoulder. "Okay," Carmen smiled. Then, she exited the house, and fascined Sabrina into her carseat. She placed her bag in the backseat, and closed the door.
Carmen got in the front seat, and drove home.
Rayan, on the other hand, still wasn't taking the situation very well. Over the whole month, he've cried, punched walls, lashed out on people etc. all over his girlfriend. Ray missed hearing her voice everyday, and her laughter. Along with her smile, and playful ways. Rayan was determined to get his girlfriend back, but there was only one way to find his girlfriend---Meek.
"Yo Rek, you still haven't heard anything from Meek?" Rayan asked. Tyrek nodded. "I actually go break a few deals with him today," Tyrek nodded. "You are?" Ray questioned. "Yeah, I'll be on full alert," Tyrek alerted. Ray nodded. "You better be," Ray snarled. Tyrek hissed, shaking his head. He went to his closet, and pulled out a true religion white shirt, some dark jeans and some black/white Jordans. He showered, and rubbed his men's Degree deodarant on his arm pits.
Tyrek came out of his bedroom, and grabbed his keys. "Yo, I'm out Ray!" he yelled. "Alright bruh!" Ray replied, nonchalantly. Tyrek shook his head, and walked out of the house. He got in his car, and texted Meek. Meek told him to meet him at a warehouse, and to stay at the front of the building. Tyrek read over all of the text messages, and drove to the warehouse. He came in, and stood at in front of the building, unaware of who's in the private room.
Courtney laid in the queen sized bed, as she trembled from being cold. She climbed under the covers, and warmed her body back up. She noticed that the TV was still on, and watched the TV program that was on. She sighed, and then, she heard a creek of the warehouse door opened, and shut. She thought it was Meek coming for her, to make her his daily sex toy. To avoid what she was fearing, she quickly laid to her side, and pretended to be asleep.
She noticed how no one didn't come to the back where she was, and wondered if it was really Meek. She slowly and cautiously got up, pacing to the door. She silently opened it, and seen a dude totally different from Meek standing at the front. From a distance, it'd looked like Rayan's older brother, Tyrek, but she figured that she was tripping. Then, Meek burst into the warehouse door, and she quickly shut the door back silently and ran over to the queen sized bed, and buried herself under covers. She laid there in just her huge nightgown dress that Meek had given her to wear. She was given clothes daily, but not that much of decent clothing.
"Wassup nigga!" she'd heard Meek exclaim. "Wassup," the dude replied. "So, when we gonna hit that deal?" the dude asked. "Oh, lemme get a lil stuff, and we'll head out," Meek said. She didn't hear anything else from the other dude, but heard footsteps coming toward the room she was. She quickly pretended to be asleep, and heard the door open and shut. She felt hands traveling down her hips, down and tried her best not to slap them away. She then, felt the covers rise and a slight grunt from Meek, of course. Luckily, he left out of the room, and she sighed heavily.
"Yo, you ready?" the dude called out. "Yeah Rek," Meek replied. That name clicked in her head, immediately. She'd remembered the first time she'd encountered Meek.
"Don't tell her that Rek," Rayan laughed, nudging his brother's shoulder.
The dude who was in the front of the warehouse was Tyrek! Rayan's brother, and didn't even notice it. She burst into tears again smacking her forehead in shame of herself.
