Courtney
I walked through the night streets as I left my home. I turned the corner, going to Niko's.
"Aye bro, gimme that jawn," a dark skinned boy requested to the sales clerk. The sales clerk picked up some chips, keying the price. The sales clerk then put the chips into the bag with a sandwich.
I read the sales clerk's name tag.
Derek.
"Thanks for visiting Niko's, come again," Derek nodded his head the boy. The boy left Niko's, smirking toward my way.
"How can I help you?" Derek asked. I jumped, looking at him. I took in my appearance---a plain t-shirt and simple ripped jeans with some Birkenstocks.. I didn't have my stomach bump. Looking at Derek, I spoke.
"Uh, n-no. No thank you."
He nodded, walking away from the counter.
I went over to an empty table, sitting down. I palmed my face, in confusion.
DING!
The bell to the front door went off. I didn't pay it any attention, until I heard the voices speak.
There was a woman, a young girl maybe twelve years old, and a small little girl looking three.
"Nana, I want some pizza!" the small girl whined. The woman looked at the small girl.
"Wait Kelena, please ma'am."
"But momma, I said I wanted a hot dog," the young girl sassed. The woman sighed.
"Stop it Sabrina."
I gasped.
"Ma-Mama?" I spoke. The woman turned around, looking at me. I approached them, tears flowing down my face.
"Courtney, why you crying?" Mama asked. I glared at the other two girls---Sabrina has grown, looking like the perfect mixture of my dad and mom. I looked at the small girl. She looks just like Ray with my eyes.
"Courtney, you tripping," Sabrina said.
"Who......who is she?" I pointed to the small girl. I looked at my mom. I gently touched her face. This is unreal. She smiled, hugging me. Into my ear, she said.
"She's Kelena, your daughter."
I woke up, looking down at my stomach. I shook my head, wiping falling tears away as I sniffled. I slid out of the bed, strolling to the bathroom.
After using the restroom, I flushed the toilet going over to the sink. I washed my hands, feeling my baby girl kick. I rubbed my stomach, smiling.
"Mommy loves you Kelena."

I pulled into the driveway, turning off the car's engine. I looked at my phone, sighing.
Today was the day that my parents were killed in a car wreck. No telling how today was going to go for me.
I also started the plan with my cousins.
We were planning to seek revenge on behalf Ms. Carmen. There's no telling, he could have been behind Rek's murder. Shits fishy how the night before Rek turned up dead-----he was going to hit a deal.
Now I know just as well as anybody else Tyrek did deals with Meek. Meek is as sneaky, ambushing as a leopard. Reason why we have beef.
Now is not the time for Courtney to know.....I have to keep this one away from her. I've been also keeping away from her that I killed all three of the niggas with Meek, taking their money as well. Reasons how Meek knew what car to follow while we were leaving Philly and I've had money for us to make it.
Now our job is to kill Meek...
Getting out of the car, I slammed it shut, locking it. I jogged up to the porch, going into the house. I scanned around, seeing the living room basically empty. Courtney came into the living room, waddling. I chuckled seeing her waddling. She looked at me smirking.
"What?" she laughed causing me to roar in laughter. I approached her, picking her up bridal style. Pecking her lips, I sat down on the couch with her in my lap.
"I missed you zaddy," she pouted. I smirked.
"I missed my two loves more though," I pouted with her, placing my forehead onto hers. She quickly pecked my lips, catching me off guard. She giggled as I tickled her sides. She laughed uncontrollably, squirming.
"Ray," she laughed, "Please....stop..."
"Nope," I muttered hugging her close to me, "I love you Courtney Michelle."
"I love you too Rayan Daquan."

Later that day, the two of them were sitting in the living room laughing and joking with everyone.
"You so stupid Dee!" Courtney laughed, rubbing her stomach.
"Well, that bitch was fat," Dee said nonchalantly, shrugging. Marlie punched him in the chest.
"How many times do I have to tell yo lil high yella' ass to watch yo mouth?" she barked. We all were quiet besides DJ, TJ and Ray snickering. Dee sucked his teeth, frowning.
"Mama you always doing that sh-" Marlie held up her fist, "doing what la'boy?"
"Nothing mama, I'm sorry," Dee sighed. "Yeah, you good. Just watch that la'potty mouth," she cautioned. He nodded saying "ight, mama."
"Mama, what you cooking?" TJ asked. Marlie shrugged. "I don't know boy, what y'all want?"
"I want some spaghetti, momma, y'know you can cook some dam....I mean some dang spaghetti," DJ pumped his fist in the air. Marlie gave him the side eye.
"You heard me tell yo brother to watch his mouth, nah why you cussing?" she exclaimed. DJ winced, shaking his head.
"My bad momma!" he shrieked. She sucked her teeth, standing up. A female walked through the door.
"Michelle, baybeh, c'mere and lemme introduce you to yo cousin-in-law," Marlie hugged the girl.
"Bout time you here," TJ snarled. Marlie gave the death glare to him. He slightly rolled his eyes. Marlie walked up to me with the girl Michelle. Rayan smiled at the girl, giving her a hug.
"Courtney, this my dawta (daughter) Michelle," she said. I nodded, hugging Michelle. "You having my cousin's baby.."
I nodded, furrowing my eyebrows.
"I just can't believe it, Ray bouta be a daddy," Michelle said, nudging Ray's arm. He laughed.
"The more I realize it.....the more it gets scary," he said, nodding, "but that's my wifey, and my baby girl in there."
I smiled, looking down. He hugged me, kissing my forehead. I felt the baby move.
"Look Ray baby!" I raised my shirt.
They all looked as Kelena played kickball in my stomach.
