As I pulled up to the hospital, Ray jumped out. He ran fast as sonic into the hospital as I quickly parked the car. I quickly got out, throwing my bag over my shoulder and keys around my neck. Hitting the locks, I ran fast into the hospital's entrance. As I ran, I noticed Meek standing at a far corner with some people. It seemed like he noticed who I was. I ran quicker to the front desk.
"Tyrek Lopez please!" I asked, catching my breath. "Room 540." the staff. "Aye!" I heard Meek voice feet away from me. I quickly ran. "Get that bitch!" he yelled. I frantically ran faster around the corner, and hopped onto an elevator going to the third floor. As the elevator door closed, I took a sigh of relief. My stomach gave me a small pain. "I'm sorry baby," I rubbed my stomach, then the pain seized. The elevator door opened and I walked down the halls, until I came across room 540. I walked in, and seen Ray crying at his brother's bedside.
"Reek man, wake up!" he sobbed. I walked up to him and placed my hand on his shoulder. "It's going to be okay Ray," he hugged my waist as I rubbed his head. I felt my eyes sting but I quickly wiped them away, taking a soft sigh. I looked at Tyrek's body in the bed (A/N, this is possible, do NOT try to correct me on hospital procedures). He laid there so peaceful. The black whole on his forehead made me cringe inside. I hate that my child lost his/her uncle before he/she was even born. Ray sobbed as he rubbed his brother's head. "I love you Reek. I'm going to make you so proud, I promise," he kissed his brother's cheek numerous of times. I cried silently. I couldn't imagine near half of the pain he's going through.
"Ray, I think you need rest," I rubbed his shoulder. He nodded. "If you don't want to go home, then come home with me. He shook his head. "I can't leave him Courtney, he's all I had. Our parents died years ago, and we have no family really," he gloomed. I sighed. "Well come home, get some rest then we'll discuss everything from there," I said. He nodded. He slowly stood up, and I held his hand as we left the room. We exited the back of the building and got into my car. He laid his head against the window as I drove along the street.
"Do you need some clothes?" I asked. He nodded. I drove to his now old house and helped him pack all of his belongings. We also packed Tyrek's stuff to put in my basement at home. We loaded the luggage into the car, and I drove home. I unloaded Tyrek's belongings and sat everything in an empty corner of the basement. Ray unloaded his belongings and took everything inside. When we walked in, my mother immediately hugged Ray. "I'm so sorry Rayan, I love you," she said, embracing him as he broke down in her arms. She comforted him, and I rubbed his back. "He's living with us now," she told me. I nodded, pointing to his luggage. She nodded. "Take him to your room," she said. He grabbed his luggage and took everything upstairs to my room. I hugged him. "I love you bae," I said. He hugged me closer. "I love you too."
