“Monroe wake up! Monroe come on, get up!”

“Monroe get up!” I said shoving at his chest. Monroe groaned before rolling onto his side, throwing a pillow over his head.

“Roe, get up!” I groaned.

“I don’t want too.” Monroe mumbled before rolling back onto his back, leaving me with a perfect view of his toned stomach.

Alright fine, We’ll do it my way.

I jumped on Monroe’s stomach, placing both of my legs on each side of him.

“Roe, get up.” I said flicking his chest.

Okay, so I guess I should’ve thought this through a little better, here I am straddling my sleepy boyfriend with his mother downstairs.

“Monroe-”

Monroe rolled over taking me with him, his arms wrapped around my body pulling me closer to him.

“What a perfect birthday present, Chay.” Monroe said smiling at me.

I groaned, taking Monroe’s arms off of me.

“Get up!”

“Why?” Monroe mumbled.

“Cause it’s your birthday!”

“Thank you captain obvious.”

"Shut up, now. Do you really want to spend the day in school on your birthday? Or would you rather spend it with your super amazing girlfriend?"

"Birthday sex?"

"No."

“Then I’d rather go to school.”

I rolled my eyes stretching my legs out in front of me.

“You seriously brought me a coffee and a muffin?”

“That I did.”

“Where’s my breakfast in bed?”

“You’re looking at it.”

“You’re in bed, and I brought you breakfast.” I said smirking at him.

Monroe rolled his eyes at me, shoving the muffin in his mouth.

“I’ll be right back.” Monroe said with his mouth full.

I rolled my eyes, falling backwards onto Monroe’s bed.

“So what’s the plans for today?”

“Whatever you want to do- and don’t say birthday sex.”

Monroe laughed, sitting down next to me on the bed.

“How about the beach?”

“The beach?”

“Yeah, the beach.” Monroe said a little slower. I shoved Monroe’s shoulder, getting up from the bed.

“Well come on birthday boy, let’s go to the beach!” I said exiting out of Monroe’s room, and down his stairs.

Monroe grabbed my free hand, while slipped my sandals off with my other hand, I carried my sandals, smiling as the sand went between my toes.

I wanted Monroe to have a day where he can just relax, not have to worry about anything, not having to think about anything, I wanted Monroe to just be Monroe.

Monroe and I sat on the big rocks listening to the sound of the waves hitting the rocks, it was almost soothing.

"I haven't been to the beach in a while." Monroe said looking out into the water.
