“What happens if she actually falls for Monroe?“

"She won’t, Chanel knows how he is, and we’ll be there to help her. We’re both victims of Monroe Taylor’s game, we know everything he’ll throw at her, she’ll be ready.”

I sat at the lunch table listening to Adrian tell Zoe about her “Amazing plan.”

“Guys did you forget the part when I said I wasn’t doing it?”

I looked over towards the direction of Adrian and Zoe, Adrian’s mouth instantly snapped shut as Zoe just laughed looking at me.

“Come on, Chanel. I mean look at him. A guy like him deserves to have a taste of his own medicine.”

I looked over towards Monroe’s table watching as he laughed planting kisses on Katrina Moore’s hot pink lips.

Katrina Moore was like a puppet, and Monroe had the strings.

“Why can’t you find someone else to do it?”

“Because there isn’t another girl in our school who is a virgin with Monroe Taylor!”

Adrian snapped at me, I laughed at her response with the whole “Virgin with Monroe Taylor.”

I was the only girl in our school who hasn’t slept with Monroe Taylor. Except for the girls Monroe wasn’t interested in, which usually meant girls like Janice Underhymer. Her last name says it all, poor girl.

Janice Underhymer was a shy girl, she was on my soccer team actually, she was in the mathletes and she was certainly the smartest girl in our entire school, she didn’t care what she looked like, her frizzy hair in the same style everyday, her track suit and terrible lime green shoes but she was different and didn’t care, that’s why I respected her.  I turned my head towards where Janice was sitting at with the rest of her mathletes group.

I placed my water bottle to my mouth rolling my eyes.

“What makes you think Monroe would go for me anyways?”

“Well for one, you’re hot, two, you’re best friends with Zoe and I. And Three, we can make Monroe want you Chay.”

Adrian’s mouth formed a smile as she placed her water bottle to her lips as Zoe nodded her head letting me know she agrees with Adrian.  

Adrian and Zoe both fell for Monroe’s tricks, of course Adrian dated Monroe the first year he transferred as a sophomore to Aleria High, Zoe dated Monroe Junior year.  And ever since then, Adrian and Zoe have been plotting revenge on Monroe and I just happened to come at the right time.

Needless to say, I started attending Aleria high sophomore year as well, but at the time, I was in a long term relationship with my highschool sweetheart, Andrew Williams from Nashville Tennessee. We went long distance for about a year and a half and the middle of Junior year, I broke it off with him.

like I said, I happened to come at the right time, which brings us here, and why Adrian and Zoe oh so badly want me to destroy Monroe Taylor.

“Chanel, I think it’s a great plan and you should do it, Adrian’s right we can help you have Monroe Taylor around your finger.”

I was starting to notice I really didn’t have a say in this.

I glanced back towards Monroe's table as he whispered into Katrina Moore’s ear, her eyes go went huge and smirk found her lips, she grabbed Monroe’s hand dragging him out of the lunchroom, I watched in disgust as Monroe licked his lips winking at his friends River and Zaylin, which meant he was going to get laid in the school stairs and don’t wait up.

Who knows maybe he was feeling nice, and would bring her to his house, ha probably not. Sorry Katrina and your soon to be aching back, should of cut the strings off a long time ago sweetheart.
