Search for Spencer Reid (Criminal Minds Story)

[A/N: This is my first criminal minds story so be a little nice. I am sorry if characters aren't really "in character" or OOC as claimed. I'm still learning how to write it up and such. Thats why I read criminal minds stories to get a feel. Still learning. kinda workingish. at one point it will switch to 3rd point of view. It's a bit surprising how the genius of the FBI of the BAU could be married with a 4 year old baby girl, and a child on the way. How he could even manage to be the type of romantic. But he was different - good different. He was the one I thought I could never fall in love with, till I met him. He was sweet, kind and caring. Who is this gentleman? Well, that might be Spencer Reid of the BAU.

"Spencer you're going to be late for work." I said buttoning up my uniform. My name is Asia and I worked at the local hospital nearby as a nurse. I didn't see Reid often unless it was a local case. But usually I saw his team members like Morgan and Prentiss, who I were friends with. I heard a groan from the bedroom and I chuckled. I saw Reid tucked up in the blankets and I smiled as I walked over to him and leaned over to him.

"Get up my big genius." I said leaning down and kissing him awake. He responded quickly and kissed back.

"Alright, alright I'm awake." he said smiling his genuine smile at me. I smiled before walking out to the kitchen and seeing Annabelle sitting at the dining room table eating her cereal. She had preschool and was hurrying up to eat. She wanted to go to kindergarden, but she wasn't old enough. Once she turned five she could go.

"Morning mommy." she said as I walked into the kitchen.

"Morning Annabelle." I said fixing her up her lunchbox which consisted of Peanut butter and jelly sandwhich, a cut up orange and oreos. I felt arms wrap around me and turned my head slightly seeing Spencer. I gave him a quick kiss and smiled.

"We need to get going otherwise the three of us are going to be late for work and school." I said giving Spencer another kiss. Spencer smiled even though he was tired at 7 in the morning.

"Technically being a few minutes late wont harm anyone." he said about to ramble how the governments time system of work functioned. I eyed him and he stopped. It was too early and he knew it hurt Annabelle's brain when she listened to her dad talk about things like that.

"I"ll take Annabelle. You go to work before you're really late." I said before heading out to the garage with Annabelle and taking her to school.

Spencer's POV

I walked into the BAU after 20 minutes of driving to work. I was ten minutes late, but Hotch wasn't going to notice. I noticed Morgan walk up beside me and I took a sip of my coffee I got last minute at a McDonalds nearby.

"You're late." he said and snickered. I rolled my eyes and kept walking towards the elevator.

"That doesn't mean anything." I said and pressed the up button. He waited next to me.

"Soo the Spencer Reid is usually never late. Why?" he said giving me a nudge. I took the hint and shook my head, my cheeks probably reddening at his suggested gesture, which was wrong.

"Whatever you're thinking you are wrong. I dont fool around in the morning. There are normal people who sleep in...by accident." I said stepping in the elevator, along with Morgan. Morgan laughed.

"You're a married man now. There's nothing wrong with fooling around with your wife a little before work...unless you're constantly late and Hotch notices."

"Which is why I dont. Plus I have a kid who goes to preschool." Morgan smiled.

"How is Annabelle?" I smiled slightly. Finally a normal conversation.

"She's good." the doors to the elevator slid open and I hurried off, Morgan shaking his head and chuckling behind me.
