Search for Spencer Reid (Criminal Minds Story) Ch.18

Spencer's POV

After questioning Natalia I left the interegation room, leaving her in tears. I had to admit she was a strong girl dealing the loss with both her mother and sister, but the unsub had suddenly changed his MO. He went from killing Younger woman to now people with families. Natalia was lucky to get away. My phone buzzed and on the caller ID read Hotch's name. I answered.

"Reid? I got you some new information that may help you."

"Alright what is it?" I asked.

"Jemare's brother, Gerard Hoffman claimed the last time he had contact with his brother was a few weeks ago. When the mother died he ran off and he suspected his brother had killed her, but didn't say anything." as he explained the rest of the story to me theories and possiblities ran through my head.

"How long did Jemare and Gerard keep in contact for?" I asked.

"Not very long from the sound of the irritation at his name, I'd personally say he doesnt like speaking to his little brother."

"Alright. I"ll dig some information up from Garcia and get back to you." I said before hanging up. I dialed Garcia.

"Goodness it's only been two days and I'm worried sick about you. Whatcha need Genius?" Penelope's voice chirped into the phone. I smiled a bit before responding,

"Garcia I need you to check telephone records between Jemare and Gerard Hoffman. Found out if the brothers have been in contact for over the past year." I heard Garcia clicking at her keyboard and computer before she made a hmming noise.

"Interesting...the brother's seem to communicate every other two weeks and its from either payphone or a prepaid cell phone." I was about to hang up before she exclaimed,

"Wait! I found something," she said typing some more.

"What is it?" I asked.

"It looks here thaaat Gerard purchased or tried to purchase a plane ticked to come see him from two weeks ago but his credit card got declined so he then made a phone call from a booth outside." she said.

"Alright. Thanks Garcia." I said before dialing up Hotch.

Jemare's POV

 I was at home watching the news. The murders and FBI were on every news channel. I narrowed my eyes before throwing the remote down. I had to end this. I had to make sure those stupid FBI agents didn't catch me. Even if it meant killing them. The phone suddenly rang making me jump. I rushed over to it and picked it up.

"Hello?" I asked into the phone before hearing my brother's angry voice.

"Gerard calm down." I hissed. "What do you want?"

"The FBI questioned me about you! I dont know what it is your doing up there but keep me out of it!" he snapped at me. I chuckled.

"Gerard," I said calmly, "You know you're involved in my messes no matter what so dont think you can get away scott free."

"Damnit Jemare..." he growled. "What the fuck are you doing up there? I've seen the news? How many people have you killed?"

"That's not your business older brother." I said before hanging up the phone, grabbing my coat and storming out the door.

Author's Note: It's probably going to be a long while before I update this story again :( I'll be moving in a couple weeks so this story will be put on hold. I dont know how long but I'm VERY SORRY for putting it on hold.
