"Shit," I said to Grace as Michael and Ashton left. "I have nothing to wear." It was true; all the clothes I owned were for dance, the gym and pyjamas.

"Shopping trip?" Grace asked, and I nodded. "Shower first though, you stink."

"Says you!" We left the coffee shop, our arms linked, and returned to the dorm. I peeled off my sweaty gym clothes (including Grace's Ivy Park leggings) and shoved them in the laundry basket before stepping in the shower while Grace decided to jam to The Vamps. I cleaned myself quickly then towelled off, allowing Grace to shower while I dressed (in her clothes, as I often did) and dried my hair. I put on a touch of makeup, primarily because the little makeup I did own was meant for the stage. Grace appeared, got ready, and we set off for the shopping centre.

"So, what are you thinking?" she asked. "Any ideas at all?"

"Skater skirt and a vest top, probably," I suggested.

"I know where to go." She led me to Jack Wills, where she shoved a variety of brightly coloured vest tops into my arms. I tried them on, and decided my favourite was a navy shirt, with white writing and a rowing boat printed on it. I bought that, and then followed Grace to New Look. She presented me with a white skater skirt, and I realised how pretty the outfit was. "Jewellery and shoes, you've got your ankh necklace, but do you own any white shoes or sandals?"

"No, but I reckon it'd look cute with my Docs."

"Yes, oh my God, cute and girly but also edgy, got to be his type."

"Yes lad," I laughed, buying the skirt.

(the next day)
"Oh my God, Flo, you look hot," Grace said as I stepped out of the bathroom.

"Do my makeup and I'll look hotter," I commanded, and sat down at my desk. She pulled out her makeup bag and started on my face.

Once she was done, the time was about quarter to seven and I was getting nervous as to whether I was going to be on time or not. While the anxiety I had had in my teens was getting easier, I still got panicky if I thought I was late to pretty much anything, and I had to call ahead if I wasn't going to be on time.

"Go! I'll stay up with my boyfriemd Netflix until you get back," she paused. "Unless you're doing the nasty in which case let me know because I'm not staying up all night waiting for you." I looked at her.

"I wanna stay up all night and jump around until we see the sun," I said very seriously, and she glared at me.

"Shut up quoting One Direction," she laughed, and shooed me out of the door. I made my way to Michael's dorm and knocked on the door, which swung open.

"Margarine, you look stunning," Michael said, looking me up and down.

"Never call me Margarine again unless you want your balls kicked in," I threatened, then smiled sweetly. "But thank you!"

"Shall we?" he asked, linking arms with me, and we stepped out. "We're going to the cinema because I'm a broke student but I want to impress you so we're going for a Chinese after, okay?"

"Okay," I laughed. "What are we going to see?"

"Captain America: Civil War," he said sheepishly, probably praying I was a Marvel fan. "Please tell me if you don't want to see it, I just-"

"I fucking love Marvel," I gasped. "Cap's shoulder to waist ratio is too much for my poor baby heart!"

"Okay maybe we're not going to see that," Michael laughed. "If you're too in love with Cap then I won't get any attention!"

"Noo," I begged. "Please Mikey." He laughed and hugged me.

"I was joking babe," he kissed my forehead. "Come on, we're at the cinema, I'll get tickets and you get us food okay?" He handed me some money and I shook my head.

"I'll pay for myself, it's okay."

"Flora it's fine, just give me the change."

"Fine," I sighed and went to get food. I bought popcorn, a bag of Smarties and two Tango Ice Blasts, and met Michael at the entrance to the screen.

"We're in Screen 6, the film starts in five," he said, starting to jog to the screen.

"Michael wait! Take some of the food, I don't have enough hands." He took the popcorn and his drink off me, and we walked into the screen.

The movie ended with me sobbing into Michael's shirt, and his arms around me.

"I can't... believe it," I choked. "They can't do that."

"They're Marvel, they'll do whatever they want to do babe," he said. "You up for Chinese?"

"No, I want to go home and cry."

"We'll do that then," he nodded. "Come on, I'll give you a piggy back." I clambered onto his back and he carried me back to campus until he started to complain that his arms were getting tired.

"Your dorm or mine?" I asked.

"Yours, lead the way," he replied, and I took his hand, dragging him to the dorm. I put the key into the lock, turned it, and pushed the door open to see a naked male body on my best friend's bed. I screamed and slammed the door, and Michael frowned. "Was that Ashton?"

"I don't know! Grace never warned me that she might have a guy over," I hissed. The door opened slightly and Grace's head poked out, quickly followed by Ashton's above it.

"Sorry, I thought you were going to be later," she said. "Oops."

"I am shocked Gracie," I shook my head. "You could have put a tie om the door or something."

"I don't own any ties."

"Or something!"

"Okay, okay," she shooed me away. "Go with Michael, do date stuff." I huffed as Michael took my hand and led me back to his dorm.
