"Mikey?" I called, staring into the bathroom sink. He was outside the door in an instant, and as soon as I unlocked it he was next to me.

"Yes?" He was slightly breathless, as expected given that he'd sprinted from the studio in our house to the bathroom in a matter of seconds.

"Look." I nodded at the sink, where three sticks were lined up, one next to another. He frowned, taking in what it meant.

"What? Wait- oh my god," he gasped, taking my hands. I nodded, and he dropped to his knees. "Hi baby, it's your daddy." He kissed my stomach over my shirt and I grinned.

"I can't believe it," I told him.

"We need to get to the doctors!" I giggled at his eagerness, shaking my head.

"Chill, it can wait a couple of weeks," I told him, laughing.

"Do you think it's a boy or a girl?" I stared at him.

"Right now it's literally a bundle of cells attached to my uterus wall," I said, rolling my eyes as we made our way through to the front room.

"A bundle of cells that's our baby!" he grinned, kneeling in front of me as I sat on the sofa. He rested his head on my lap, his mouth stretched in one of the biggest smiles I'd ever seen. "I'm gonna be a daddy."

"You already are," I said seriously, and he looked up at me.

"Flora!" he gasped, pretending to be shocked. "What an inappropriate thing to say in the presence of a baby!" I laughed, shaking my head.

"Let's phone Grace and Ashton. They can bring Jess," I suggested, and he nodded, going to fetch the house phone. He dialled for Ashton, talking with him briefly.

"Yeah, me and the wife wanted to see if you all wanted to come over. Yeah? Ten minutes is good. I'll have the kettle on." He hung up, smiling at me. "I figured we could tell them all in person."

"Good idea," I said, getting up to grab an apple. I sank my teeth into it, watching Michael dance round the kitchen in joy as the kettle boiled. The doorbell went off, and I threw my apple into the bin, going to let Grace and her family in. Instantly, I took Jess, their two month old baby out of Ashton's arms, cradling her close to my chest. "Come in," I told them, and we made our way through to the kitchen where Michael was pouring out three cups of coffee and a cup of tea for me. I rocked Jess slowly as the drinks were carried through to the lounge and we sat  down.

"So, why did you want us to come over?" Ashton grinned at me and his daughter.

"We have something to tell you," Michael said, glancing at me.

"Tell me," Grace insisted.

"I'm pregnant," I blurted out, instantly dropping my eyes to Jess's big brown eyes.

"What?" Ashton and Grace exclaimed together.

"I'm going to have a baby."

"You can't! You're too innocent," Ashton complained, coming over to take Jess back from me as she started fussing.

"Says the guy who has a daddy kink and a baby," I retorted, and he shook his head, his daughter on his shoulder as he rubbed her back. I watched Grace look at him lovingly, and I couldn't wait for the day that Michael and I were like our best friends.

"How far gone are you?" Grace asked, coming to sit next to me.

"Probably about 12 weeks, something like that. I haven't had my period but I completely forgot about it, to be honest. More important things to worry about, you know?"

"Yeah," Grace grinned, rubbing my tummy. "I can't wait to meet my godbaby."

"Woah, who said you were going to be godmother?"

"Me?" She looked at me as if I were stupid. "You, when we were nineteen and living together?"

"True," I laughed. "What were my exact words?"

"You'll be the godmother of my first child," Grace quoted, and I leaned in to hug her.

"I can't wait to meet them," I sighed, tracing circles on my stomach with my nail. "Doesn't look like there's anything there."

"I know, you'll be surprised how little it looks until about two weeks before," Grace told me.

"Really?"

"Yep," she grinned. "Anyway, me and Ash should probably be going, Anne Marie wants to see Jess."

"Enjoy," I told her, and she pulled me into a close hug. We stood up, and Ashton cuddled me, placing a kiss on my cheek, and the two left. Michael put his hands on my hips, rubbing his thumbs on my belly, and then kissed me deeply. He ran his tongue over my bottom lip, sending shivers down my spine, and I grinned. "Upstairs?" He took my hand and pulled me up the stairs, into our bedroom and we fell onto the bed together. We continued making out, giggling every time we separated for a breath and running our hands over each other's bodies. We finally pulled apart and lay quietly next to each other, connected only by our touching hands, and I sighed contentedly.

"I love you," Michael said, and I turned my head to look at him. He was staring at the ceiling, grinning widely, and his eyes were lit up with happiness.

"I love you more," I told him, watching his hand slowly make its way onto my stomach.

"I love our baby as much as I love you and that's a lot," he smiled, finally turning to look at me.

"We love you more than pizza," I replied.

"Well that's not much," he frowned. I cocked my head, confused, and he spoke again. "Remember the first time you came to my dorm and you told me you didn't like pizza?"

"Oh yeah," I laughed. "You've exposed me to it that much that I like it again now."

"Good," he said, and he kissed me again.
