Tomorrow Never Dies

not an update

this isn't an update (that's coming later) but I need to say something.

Tomorrow Never Dies is going to have strong themes of mental illness and how characters (mainly Flora, and probably Michael) deal with them, as well as sexuality.

I tried to explore these themes in Icarus, but sexuality was used as a plot device and I talked about mental illness in Courtney as I was just beginning to feel depressed and anxious, so it hasn't been well written. I didn't really understand what I was going through, whereas now it's been over a year and I feel like I can describe it more accurately and portray it better in my book.
