Cartoons nowadays can be fucked up, but I think I discovered an ultimate low. Think about it like this, MOST, not all, but MOST cartoons would rather show children

-Jokes about depression (Poor Squidward)

-Jokes about suicide (*cough cough* SpongeBob *cough cough* One Coarse Meal)

-Mindless Violence (Nickelodeon, fite me bitch)

-Jokes about rape (Bread Winners/Other cartoons. Think about it, they are making a potion you trick someone into drinking so you can "fall in love")

-Literally the shittiest plots imaginable

-Seizure inducing flashing lights (Problem Solvers, there is no way in hell they accidentally put that in, they are using every colour in the goddamn universe in a flashing orgy)

Yeah, we can put that in a show! But even the tiniest, most minuscule reference to the LGBT community? We can't put that in a kids show!

Let's face it, the only reason Ruby and Sapphire from Steven Universe are "genderless but use female pronouns" is because Cartoon Network is being a little bitch saying "We can't have lesbians in our show!" They literally only get like 3 cameos

And let's not forget that apparently Cartoon Network edited a scene in Clarence with two gay men. One was supposed to have flowers and they were supposed to have a kiss on the lips. Instead, no flowers, and they did the European greeting where you kiss each other on the cheek.

It's 2016 goddammit! Grow a pair and let the gay people take the spotlight in kids cartoons!
