“Are you sure Hecate?” A tall built man said, his electric blue eyes blazing.

“Yes,” Hecate sobbed tears coming out of her forest green eyes. “I’m sorry, lord Zeus, it happened so fast I-“

“Quit babbling!” Zeus ordered. “It’s not your fault, its part of the prophecy: you can never stop them. You of all people should know that being a goddess.”

Hecate nodded, her bottom lip still quivering.

“Go tell Apollo that you have the child and the first step is in motion. Tell him… to pick one of his children that is suitable for your daughter; we don’t want Kronos to get her before we do.”

“Yes my lord,” Hecate said turning on her heels.

“One more thing,” Zeus said making Hecate turn around to face him. “What are we going to call her; your daughter that is?”

The goddess pondered the question for a couple a few minutes.

What should I name my daughter that could either destroy the Greek gods or send them into the golden age? She thought.

“Sappho,” Hecate stated, “after Apollo’s most successful daughter; in honor of him.”

Zeus nodded; this made perfect sense to him.

“Go now and tell Apollo.” He ordered.

With that Hecate turned again and walked off.
