It has been a week since Nico found me in the Underworld, it hasn't been terrible considering we were living among the dead and all we could do was roam around the palace. Now we were in the game room playing Call of Duty Black Ops, me obviously losing to Nico every round.
"Haha! I win!" Nico said once again.
I rolled my eyes, "Can we do something else, we've been playing this for over an hour."
"Sure," he said. "You wanna go Elysium and bug the heroes?"
I shrugged. "Maybe they can help me with my dilemma."
And with that we headed out to the fields of Elysium were a bunch of heroes in all sorts of attire longing in chairs around a shallow pool.
"Hey guys, this is Sappho," Nico greeted, introducing me to everyone. "She was wondering if you guys had any advice for this situation she's in."
"What's your problem?" A man dressed in a toga and a big sword asked.
"I'm a part of this prophecy where I have to bear a child to one of two boys in less than a year. The only  issue is the one that everyone wants me to have the child with isn't being very committed to our relationship,  but the one I think I love is about to become the host of Kronos."
All of the men were silent until one of them spoke up, "Go inside and talk to Helen. She was in a similar situation."
I walked inside the big mansion behind the pool alone, as Nico took a seat next to a few of the men.
"Hello?" I called out. There wasn't an answer so I followed the sound of voices. My ears led me to this large den where a women was reclined on a, well, recliner watching the vampire diaries.
The woman was really pretty, he dark hair cascaded down her back and her bright blue eyes were framed by dark lashes. "I don't understand," she said not even looking up from the television, "Why would a woman fall in love with such a terrible monster?"
"I guess she sees something in her love that no one else can see, because they're blinded by their limited perception," I spoke up, sitting in the love seat right next to her.
The woman smiled at me, "Yes, that would make sense. I am Helen of Troy."
"I am Sappho, daughter of Hecate." I replied with a smile. "I was told by the men outside that I was to come to you for advice."
Once I finished explaining my last few weeks Helen looked as if she were reading me, "Who do you love, Sappho?" She asked. "If it came between the two of them, which one would you choose?"
I rubbed my temples in annoyance. "That's the problem. My heart is telling me to be with Luke, but my mind and everyone else is telling me to be with Caleb."
"Have you ever heard my story, Sappho?" She asked curiously. I shook my head. "I also was stuck in between to men. One was a man of great respect, he was even the prince of Sparta. But there was also another man who was a poor Trojan shepherd. They both loved me, but it was Paris who fought for me the most, so my heart was given to him."
"So I should be with the one who sacrifices the most for me?"
"Exactly, because that means they sacrificed the closest thing to themselves that they can give to you."
        "And what is that?"
"Their heart, and from your story Luke sounds like he's sacrificing more for you, compared to Caleb who is just going through the motions."
I sighed, "Were you ever afraid of what people thought?"
She nodded, "Of course, but there's is something about love that will make the most logical person do the craziest of things."
"I think I know what to do now," I replied. "Thank you Helen."
"You're welcome. I hope you make the right decision."
There was a sudden flash of light and the first thing I saw was Luke's sleeping figure with his arms lazily wrapped around my waist. I scooted closer to him and nuzzled my face in the crook of his neck. He subconsciously wrapped his arms tighter and whispered, "I love you" into my hair, and I couldn't help but smile
