Sappho
The five of us went through the forest and into a grove where a large boulder laid. I knew I was supposed to be focused on the task at hand but my mind kept wandering to that kiss. Did Caleb actually love me, or was he just saying that because of our parents and the prophecy. It was just too confusing.
We reached the boulder and there was a large crack big enough for us to climb into.
"Well," Grover said nervously as he jumped down first screaming,"GOODBYE SUNSHINE!"
    Tyson followed shouting, "HELLO ROCKS!"
Then Annabeth, Percy and I jumped into the crack into the darkness. I pulled the flashlight from my backpack and examined what we were against. The Labyrinth was rounded like a sewer, constructed of red brick with iron barred portholes every ten feet. I shined the light into one of the portholes out of curiosity, but I couldn't see anything except a never ending pathway. I shut my flashlight off and my eyes quickly adjusted and I could just as fine as with the flashlight, I guess there are other perks of being the daughter of the goddess of magic, darkness and crossroads.
"So Annabeth," Percy said, "What should we do?"
Annabeth thought for a moment then she had this idea that we should stick by the left wall.
"If we keep one hand on the left wall and follow it," she said, "we should be able to find our way out again by reversing our course."
The idea seemed sensible, but I had this instinctive feeling that was the wrong path. Soon the left wall faded out and we were stuck in a circular room with eight different paths leading out. Everyone else was confused, but I figured that the maze was testing us  seeing if we were going to make the right decision. I quietly reminded myself that this wasn't my quest to lead, it was Annabeth's. We all looked at Annabeth for further instruction wondering which path she will choose.
"Just turn around," she suggested. All of us turned to a different tunnel an I knew that the one that would lead us back to camp was gone.
"Left walls are mean." Tyson said. "Which way now?"
"Um..." Annabeth guessed, "That one." She pointed to the third tunnel to the right.
"How do you know?" Grover asked skeptically, obviously uncomfortable underground.
    "Deductive reasoning."
    "So you're guessing," Percy stated.
"Just, come on," Annabeth said leading us into the tunnel. I had a bad feeling about this.
