When we pulled apart I put on my clothes while he called the Fates' cab to take me back to camp which came after a few seconds. I gave him a quick peck on the lips and reluctantly got into the cab. As the cab drove away I began to grow angry with myself. The one time I fall in love I have to leave him. I curled up into a ball in the backseat of the car and cried myself to sleep as the cab jerked around.

I awoke as the cab jerked to a stop, propelling me off of the seat. I took in a ragged, uneven breath and stepped out of the car and it drove away.

"I love you," Luke whispered in my head, using the necklace, leaving a bittersweet set in my stomach.

"I love you too," I thought telepathically, passing the camps borderline.

As soon as I crossed the border, I quickly casted an invisibility spell on myself, easily passing all of the campers who crossed my path. I'm not quite sure why, but for some reason I didn't want to deal with anyone right now. My feet led me to the lake where I saw Caleb sitting by himself while Drew was kissing another boy in a canoe in the middle of the water. I felt kind of bad for him.

I turned off the spell and settled down next to him. "I'm guessing that it didn't work out?"

"No," he said and turned to face me. His eyes filled with surprise, "Sappho!" he cried, happily wrapping me in a warm embrace. "Are you okay? Did Luke hurt you?"

I pulled away from him, "How did you know that I met Luke?"

He bit his lip, as if thinking of a good answer. "I was informed by Eros, he wanted me to help."

"Lies," Luke said. "He envies me. He wants to be with you."

"And why would Eros, a Greek god, need your help exactly?"

Again, he fumbled for an answer. "You're just going to need to trust me on this. Luke is not a good guy, I 've known him for a long time. He's the son of Hermes for gods sake. He can weave lies in a matter of seconds that the most mistrusting person will believe."

I shook my head in confusion, not sure who to believe anymore. "I need to think," I said before running into the forest.

Once I was deep enough into the wooded area, I collapsed and cried. Now I didn't know who to believe anymore. I shook my head again, it didn't matter anymore, I was probably pregnant with Luke's child anyway. I sighed in frustration and headed to the Hecate cabin where I saw Stephan was playing with fire on the porch again.

He looked up when I passed him. "Sappho? I thought you were on a quest."

I sighed and rubbed my eyes dry, which got him really concerned.

"What happened?" he asked, following me into the cabin.

I took a deep breath  and asked him telepathically, "Can you keep a secret?"

        He nodded.

"I met Luke Castellan..." I stopped, not wanting to continue.

His hazel eyes grew wide, "Did he hurt you?"

I shook my head, "Not in the slightest, but I need to ask you a weird favor."

"Anything for my favorite sister," he joked.

"Do you know any spells for pregnancy tests?"
