"So, how's your head?" Niall asked, causing me to look up from my phone. He stood in the doorway, holding a couple shopping bags. I shrugged.

"I took some aspirin, so it was fine." I replied, glancing back down at my phone.

"Why didn't you come with us, then?" Niall asked, plopping down on the bottom bunk across from me. I shrugged, trying to keep a blush from creeping onto my face.

"I dunno. Didn't feel like it, I guess." I answered, and he just smirked.

"How's...Cher?" He winked, emphasizing her name. My face heated up, and I glanced away, trying to appear indifferent.

"Okay, I guess. We didn't talk much." He chuckled.

"That's a shame. I have a feeling you two could really hit it off!" I glanced at him quizzically. He sat there, a smile playing on his lips.

"Niall, I would really appreciate it if we could stay away from talking about girls. Especially brunettes named Cher." I told him, hopping off of the bed and leaving the room.

I walked down the stairs, and found a bunch if contestants gathered in the kitchen. Liam walked over to me, grinning nervously.

"Hey!" He greeted, and I smiled.

"Hey, what's up?" He glanced down anxiously at his feet.

"Uh, I was wondering...." He started, fidgeting awkwardly. "Do you think...?" He trailed off, then looked up at me expectantly.

"Huh?"

"I said do you think cherwouldgooutwithme?" He mumbled, jumbling his words together.

"What?" I asked again, chuckling lightly.

"Do. You. Think. That. Cher. Would. Go. Out. With. Me." He spoke through gritted teeth. My smile faltered slightly, but was 'normal' and instant later. Liam looked at me expectantly.

"You like Cher?" I Asked, dumbfounded. He nodded, blushing.

Of course he liked Cher. She was funny, talented, and hot. I felt like glaring at Liam. She was mine. Well, no she wasn't. But she was. Who am I kidding? Of course she'd go for Liam. They were already good friends.

"Lou?" Liam asked nervously. I jolted out if my thoughts.

"Oh, yeah, definitely." I mumbled, my mind elsewhere. His face lit up.

"Really?!" He asked, I nodded before stumbling over to the couch. Liam stood there, a grin plastered idiotically on his face. He seemed to stunned to move. He stared off into space.

"Hey, chill out. What crawled up your-" Harry started, before being cut off.

"Harry!" Mary scolded, smacking his shoulder. He cringed, quickly apologizing. In that brief moment, I was able to snap my menacing glare off of Liam, and plaster a smile on.

"I'm fine, Harry." I assured him, and he just rolled his eyes.

"Whatever," he smirked. "Did Payno tell you he was thinking about asking Cher out?" He asked a little too loudly. I noticed Cher blushing madly from the kitchen. Everyone stared at Harry, and Liam just angrily ran out of the room.

"Nice going, Harold." I muttered, standing up. Cher still looked shocked, her food still being held in midair.

"Oops..." He croaked, feeling all eyes switching from him to Cher and back again. I rolled my eyes before leaving to go check on Liam.

--

"You okay man?" I asked quietly, opening the door to our room. Liam started, his back rigid. He sat staring out the window, his face emotionless.

"I'm fine." He answered indifferently. I crossed the room, trying to avoid the many obstacles on the floor.

"Liam, you know you can talk to me, right?" I told him, and he nodded slowly. He glanced up at me, his brown eyes full of embarrassment.

"I'll get over it." He replied. "But why didn't you tell me?" My brow creased in confusion.

"Tell you what, mate?" I asked, and a small smile played on his lips.

"That you liked Cher." He finally replied. I froze, every muscle tensing.

"What?" I managed through my shock.

"You think I didn't notice that jealous glare you gave me from across the room?" He chuckled, and, blushing, I shrugged.

"Sorry..."I mumbled. He smiled weakly.

"It's okay, I gave you the same look when you got to stay at the house with her." He admitted. I smiled cheekily, seriously becoming uncomfortable with this conversation.

"You? Jealous? Of me?" I asked, wide eyed. He rolled his eyes. "Payno, there's no need to worry. Everyone's jealous of the Tommo!" He chuckled.

"I won't ask her out if you don't want me to..." He offered.

"Liam, go for her!" He smiled gratefully.

"Lou, I don't want a girl to come between us. We barely became a band, and I don't want any burnt bridges. Lets call her off-limits?"

"Okay..." I agreed, disappointed and grateful at the same time.

There was a soft knock on the door, and both our heads shot towards it.

"Who's there?" I called. The door opened slowly, revealing an embarrassed Cher.

"Hi," she murmured, and Liam blushed madly. We stood there awkwardly for what seemed like ages. Cher glanced back and forth between me and Liam. "Yes..." Her voice was merely a whisper.

"Huh?" Liam said like an idiot. I chuckled, before realizing what she had said. My chuckle turned bitter, and I could tell Liam noticed. He glanced at me quizzically. My heart fell.

"Yes." She stated again. As The meaning sunk in, Liam's face turned from confusion, to shock, to excitement. He looked like a kid who just got candy.

"Well, where do you wanna go?" he asked. I glanced at them, anger boiling trough my veins. Liam gazed at me, his eyes widening apologetically. He prepared to say something, but I just rolled my eyes, storming out.

Cher and Liam were going on a date.
