I sat in the lounge of BigHit. Suddenly I got a message from Namjoon, letting me know rehearsal was almost finished and that he'd be on his way out soon. I had gotten closer with V and Jhope and of course Namjoon at this point. I expected Yoongi to come with them, but he didn't. "He's busy with a song right now, so he may not leave the studio until tonight." He told me. I was a little annoyed, because why wouldn't he tell me that in the first place? "Oh..um alright." I put my phone in my purse and stood up. "She can come with us." Jhope says pointing between V, Jungkook and himself. "Uh, they're going to eat if you'd like to join them? I'm just going to stay back and help Suga." He said, translating. I looked at the guys. I was tired, but I was also hungry and couldn't turn down the offer. "Sure," I nod. "I'll call Aurie and Nicole to see if they want to come too." I said and they seemed to understand.
We had decided to go to a bar and grill type restaurant, something low key though. Aurie and V were engaging in conversation. Aurie is 21 years old. She grew up in the Philippines. She's Jamaican, Philippine and Korean. She left and moved to America when she was 11, but moved away when she was 14. She had went to high school in Korea for her Freshmen and Sophomore years, but came to America for her senior and Junior years, after being bullied for how multicultural she was. She doesn't claim to be Korean, because I guess when she was living there they claimed she wasn't "pure blood" and that she acted American. I was envious of how fluently she spoke the language while arguing with V over why he couldn't take food from her plate. "We don't do that! You do that in America and best believe, you better square up." She says jokingly. It only left V confused. "Huh?" He mumbled something, then offered her an item from his plate, holding it to her mouth. It made me think of Yoongi. Jhope was actually not bad at English. If you talked slowly he seemed to catch on. Nicole, who was bored and complaining to anyone who listened suddenly sat up. "Come with me." She said to me, taking me by the wrist. "Where?" I asked, quickly trying to adjust the unnecessarily large sweater around my bump to make sure it went unnoticed. "There's a bar!" She screeched excitedly. "No, no." I pulled away from her grip. "You don't want a drink?" She seemed surprised. "I'm...under aged." I say. "That was never a problem before." She said, placing her hands on her hips. I sighed. "I just don't want to. I don't want to drink for a while. That's all." I said, making my way back to my seat. "Fine." She seemed legit upset for some reason. Like as if I had done something rude. Jungkook was watching intently. He had been mostly quiet, unless one of the boys spoke to him. They weren't really speaking to him and I could tell he was slightly annoyed by that. I noticed that he liked having the attention of his hyungs on him. In a way I found it funny. I switched the subject. "Jungkook why are you so quiet?" I say. He blushed immediately and stuttered out the word, "Pardon?" I chuckled. "Why are you so quiet?" I speak, slowly this time. "Oh I um" he shrugged cutely. "I am good. I'm okay." He says. He tried to choose his words wisely whenever he spoke English, only using what he knew. "He is this way when- when girls are..." V struggled thinking of a word. "Around?" Aurie added helpfully. "Ah around yes." He said. Jungkook just listened in. He looked like he wanted the moment to end.
"Ready to leave?" I said moments after. "No no. Let's stay." Said V. "We can go, you guys stay then." Jhope speaks in his mother language. He stood up and I stood with him, expecting the others to follow. "Um.." "They are going to wait here." Jhope says. "Oh." I nod and follow behind him. "Where are we going?" I say in Korean, testing a phrase Suga had taught me. He gasped. "Oh good, good!" I smiled. "Thank you." I said. "We are going to take a walk to the street store." He said in Korean. "Huh?" I said. "Oh sorry, sorry. Um..." He waited a moment to speak. "You want..to walk to outside store?" He said. "Ohh yeah sure." I said. As we continued on our stroll, we were mostly quiet at lest at first. "What do they.." Once again trying to think of how to say "have" in the correct pronunciation and formal term since he is older than I am. "Um..What do they have?" I speak. Jhope began to laugh. And when I say laugh, I mean loud af. I roll my eyes. "No no, right word. Wrong sound." He said. His English was better than Yoongi's. "Shut up." I replied. "Be nice." He said. I just giggled in response. "Have food, candy, um just different..all things." He says. "Cool." I replied. He nodded. "Yes, very cool." He says. I looked down at my phone. It was still bright outside, but it was 9:07 at night. I never realize that Yoongi had texted me about 40 minutes ago.
-Can I stay over?
-Are you there?
-Where'd you two go? We are waiting for youI had to use google translate for the last message, because he began to go all Korean on me again. Once I realized what he was saying I tuned back into conversation with Hoseok. "It is like-" "Oh! We should get back. Suga just messaged me, they're waiting." I said. He was confused. "Uhh..our members are waiting for us. They keep texting." I think he got the gist by all my hand movements, more than what I was saying. "Ohh!" He nodded and we turned. We didn't even get anything from the street store. We only walked and talked that whole time. I didn't bother responding to Suga. He'd be fine.
The last time we spoke was last night and we damn near argued. I was so shocked when he attempted to tell me what to wear. First, he showed up uninvited when the girls and I were headed to a special event. Then, he barely spoke to me as I got ready. The first things he really said were "그것을 착용하지 않습니다" I ignored it. I wasn't sure what he had said. "I said don't wear that." He said in a demanding tone. I looked back at him. "What's wrong with it?" I asked. "It shows too much...it is too much exposing. You are pregnant . You don't need that." I don't think I could express the whiplash I got from turning my head so fast in his direction. It was a simple dress. Well, the cleavage cut pretty low, but you couldn't see much. The point is we were already on a strange note, plus he stood me up this afternoon too.
"You like ice cream?" Jhope asked, but before I could answer an outcry erupted from down the street. "Hobi!!!!" I looked in the direction it came from and there was a younger girl speed walking our way. Within seconds about 10 more girls were surrounding us. Jhope kept a calm smile on his face, waving and attempting to give autographs, but we were being shoved around. About four more girls had shown up and I just wanted to get out of the crowd. I hadn't realized there was a curb right behind me and before I knew it, I was shoved and shoved hard.
________________"Saorsa?" I looked up and saw Yoongi peering through the door. The nurse turned to him. "Can I help you?" They began speaking in their mother language. "Yeah. What happened?" He asked, stepping into the room as she tightened the wrap on my wrist. I hissed. She looked at me. "Do you know this man?" She asked. I nod. "He's fine." I said. "She's fractured her wrist, landed on it wrong." She said. His eyes widened. "You were with Jhope?" He says. "Hm?" I asked. "Jhope was there?" He asked. "Yeah. Why?" I ask. "Why are you angry?" I asked. He didn't answer, he just left.
This may be boring but, Let's see what this leads too...
