"Don't worry. We still have 3 more days to spend together." Yoongi says attempting to sound happy as he whisked up some eggs. I sat at a chair watching him, tapping against Kae's back while I held him. "You know how quickly 3 days can go by?" I asked. "I know, but...I don't want to make the rest of these days sad. Only look at the okay of it." Sometimes he'll say 'okay' instead of 'good'—I don't always correct his grammar mistakes. I didn't reply. I stood up, exiting the kitchen. "Aish Jagiya." He groaned, but I just headed up the stairs. Moments later Yoongi was by my side."What's wrong?" He asked as I dressed Kaelan. He was so giggly this morning. I chuckled blowing raspberries against his tummy. His laughter was oxygen for me. I turned to Yoongi. "Nothing. I just gotta get little man ready for his appointment." I replied. "Oh...I thought you were upset." He said. "I know, but I'm not." He nodded. "It's in two hours then?" He asked. I nodded. "I can just take you and drop you off before I meet with my manager then." He said, sitting next to Kae on the bed. I looked up at Yoongi, not responding. He smiled and stretched to kiss my forehead. I hid my embarrassment by changing subjects.
"I talked to my manager and team and the girls," I spoke up. He raised a brow. "About what?" he asked. "About my living arrangements." I said. He nods for me to continue. "I have four options: continue to make music as a group if the girls agree to move with me, go solo but still be apart of the label I'll just be in Korea, manage to spend five months in America at least every year but I can live in Korea for the most part and remain apart of the group, or terminate my contract which they said is not up for consideration. Basically they're not going to let me leave the label, but they've found ways around me being in another country. I've been thinking about it and I really don't know what my move should be. I'm considering the third option, spending five months in the states every year...What do you think?" Yoongi stayed quiet for a moment, then expressed his thoughts. "Five months is a long time, but I think for your career and what's best for you..it's the best option. You can spend time with your family and you deserve to continue to work on your career just as much as I do. I don't want you to leave everything behind. I'd never ask you to do that. You're smart and you know what can work for you, so it's really your decision." He said. I smiled and nodded. "Okay." I replied. "Could you check on that food?" I asked. His eyes widened. "Oh shit." He sat up in a hurry. "Don't curse around the baby!" I called after him. "Mianhe!" He shouted back but he was already gone. I shook my head.
I picked up my phone and clicked on Lucas' contact. "Hey, how's my favorite girl?" He greeted. "I'm okay thanks." I replied. "Good good. So what's this about?" He asked. "I gave it a thought and I think my best option would be the five months in the states." I stated. He was quiet. "Okay. That's alright. We'll just have to make changes to your contract. You're sure about this." He said. "...Yes, when can I meet with you?" I responded. "Hmm how's 4 in the afternoon sound?" He replied. "Today?" I asked. "Mhm" I thought. "I don't know if I can find a babysitter in time." I said. "I was going to say you could bring the little guy with you, but isn't his dad there?" He says. I sat silent for a moment, I turned my head to Kae who was kicking his little feet. I sighed. I've never left him with Suga alone. He might be busy today anyway. But hell if I have to do it, he's gonna have to deal with this lifestyle too. I'm a busy woman so this could be practice for him to get used to things. "Sure I'll see what I can do." I replied. Yoongi was now at the door listening to the conversation. "Perfect we'll get you in here and I'll call the girls in too and we'll all just discuss what's to come in the future." He said. "Okay thank you. Bye." I hang up.
"What was that about?" He asked. "I'm going to need you to watch Kaelan around 4." I said. "But I'll be with the guys." He replied. "I know. You'll be okay." I said. "We have an interview with Fuse. Why can't you take him with you? What are you doing?" He asked. I rolled my eyes. "Its business. My business." I said. He chuckled. "But I got business too." He said. "Remember when you said Kae and I were your business? Well now is your time to prove it." I smiled. He shook his head. "Why do women always remember small things like that, but not remember where they put their coat, or keys, or important things." He mumbled playfully. "Square up Suga." I shrugged, getting up from the bed. "Square?" He asked. "Yeah, let's fight." I showed him my fists. He laughed and instead enveloped me inside his arms. I stayed there for a moment, taking in his scent.
"You smelling me again?" He asked. "No." I hit his chest, moving away. "Did you burn it?" I asked. "No, the pan was already warm on the stove so it was already too hot." He had an excuse for everything. "So you burned it?" I asked again. "Let's just eat out." I rolled my eyes. "Fine." I said.
