Kaelan was now 9 days old and on this particular night he decided to be a fuss pot which was unusual for him. He was a quiet baby at night and only really cried throughout the daytime. "Kae.." I groan the nickname I had given him a while ago. On this particular night Yoongi was gone. He left around 7 in the afternoon and hasn't been back since. It was now 2:08 in the morning. I knew he was probably dealing with management and having a meeting after all this exploded in the media. Thank God the other girls were just a room away if I needed help. I was already up and holding Kae now. I sit on the edge of the bed, rocking him, but it didn't do much. I run my finger on his tiny, but plump lips, before kissing his forehead. This calms him for some seconds. I then reach for the pacifier on the nightstand and try to see if this was the issue. He calmed as he sucked on it. He must've been hungry. Aurie knocks on the door and enters. She was tired. "Everything okay?" "Yeah I just need to make a bottle." I say as I lay him down to dig through his bag for his formula mix. It reminded me of the argument Suga and I had at the hospital. It was a ridiculous argument over my decision to not breastfeed. It's not like these were his boobs. I push the thought to the back of my mind and grab all I need. "He's still not here? Is he even staying tonight?" I shrugged. "He really hasn't done much." I rolled my eyes. "He has. He's just busy. He's been helping out this whole time and has been here night and day. He just had a meeting with BigHit that's all." I said. She ignored my statement. "Let me help you." She said. "It's fine." I replied. "No seriously. I'll make the bottle. You stay right here with little man." She smiles taking the goods and leaving with it. I rub his little tummy and minutes later he was asleep. I smiled at his small frame. I could never love anything more than him. Kaelan was my new commitment and nothing could come before him now. I pick him up and place him in the crib where he slept peacefully. Aurora emerged with everything and I shushed her immediately. She noticed and quietly left the things on the dresser, before leaving. I sigh tiredly, as I finally layed down for the eighth time tonight.Only 30 or less minutes went by before his hollering stabbed through the air again. I groaned..more of a whimper as I shuffled in bed, turning over. I felt a hand place the cover back over me. "I got it." The tired voice belonged to Yoongi. I absentmindedly smile, feeling more than relieved and finally drift back into a deep sleep.
"Where is it?! I must be the first to touch it!"
I heard someone yell in Korean as I finished dressing in my room. I was fresh out the shower. Nicole was keeping an eye on Kaelan for me while Suga and I were busy. I was showering and he was supposed to have left, but apparently he came back. I had on sweats and a crappy black tshirt. I was ready to get messy all over again with my child, who for some reason likes to get me messy. I opened the bed room door and went into her room. She was talking baby to him again. I laugh and take him from her. I thanked her and made my way down the stairs. I saw the whole Bangtan crew anxiously seated in the living room. Aurora was telling them how the baby was asleep, but he wasn't anymore. Jhope gasped as everyone else turned to look. He jumped up, but Taehyung stopped him. "Heyy I called dibs." "He's not an 'it' by the way." I spoke and he blushed in embarrassment. "Oh, yes. Sorry." He apologized in English. "Your Korean is getting better." Jungkook compliments. Before I could thank him Namjoon took fault. "Thank you." He says. I roll my eyes. "Yeah he's been my main help." I said and mostly no one understood, but they nod anyway. "Did you all wash your hands?" I asked. "Yes." Namjoon answered. I motioned for V to sit and he obeyed. I tried explaining to him how he should hold him and he paid attention to my instructions.
