"Mom, I told you we can't stay. Yoongi has to meet back at the hotel. They're filming some show, and it's really important." I say as she starts taking the baked macaroni out from the oven. "Well too bad. I already started dinner. Don't be rude. I want us all to eat like family." She says. "Family? Ma, we aren't that serious." I had to stop her there. "Shīt you better be. He ain't gonna walk around planting kids and not pay the time and support." I rolled my eyes. She was very old fashioned. "We can come back to eat-" "What? But I'm hungry." Suga says, stepping into the kitchen. "I thought you had to be back." I replied. "Not until 9" he answered. "Now go sit back down and watch that weird one with your baby." I sighed. V was great with children. At the moment he was goofing around, making faces at Kae, who was propped up in his little seat giggling.
"Did you see that?! He's laughing! He loves me." I smiled. "They're fine." I said. "Go sit, while I cook." She repeats. "Fine." She can be so stubborn.
"Sorry Tae, I'm gonna have to take him." I said before picking Kaelan up and sitting on the comfy sofa. I just wanted to hold my baby. I missed him and it's only been one night. Yoongi sat very closely and began to talk to Kae in his mother language. Kae began giggling. I hid my smile as the two bonded. Yoongi's 'baby talk' was cute, but not as cute as Kaelan's reactions to it. Without even asking, Yoongi took Kae, propping him up against his arm and he continued to play with him. I'd be lying if I said it didn't make me extremely happy.
"Hyung, why don't you try pulling these moves the next time someone asks you to do aegyo?" V teased. I chuckled. "Why don't you mind your business?" Yoongi snaps back, returning his attention back to Kae. Tae just laughs it off. "Taehyung are you okay with eating here? My mom is being stubborn and she said it'd be rude to just leave since she already started cooking." He seemed surprised that I asked. "Of course I am eating. I wasn't leaving without getting some of what she was cooking. I smelled it as soon as I walked in and I knew I wasn't going anywhere."
I laughed, he was so serious. "Alright." I responded.I was going to text Namjoon to let him know, because knowing these two they'd just let the others worry about there whereabouts. I got up to get my phone out of the kitchen where I left it, unaware that Tae followed behind me. "Sao?" I looked at Tae. "You're coming back to Korea right?" I was too unsure to answer that question. "I..I don't know." I answered honestly. "But..Hyung has already bought a separate house. He'll be at the dorm for a couple of months. He says you won't believe he's dedicated to being a family until he takes the right steps to influence your decision, so he moved out and only stays for work, or around comebacks and promoting.." I took in all he said. "He's living in a house—alone?" I asked. "Well an apartment, but it's really big and nice and he has Holly his dog, but I'm sure it can still be lonely. Sometimes he'll just come to the dorm at 3am and sleep in his old bunk. Our manager even thinks it'd be a good idea for you to move in. I mean he's been really distracted and unfocused and PD-nim thinks that you being there might help his anxiety. Even his depression seems to be worst too-" "He's depressed? Depressed?" I interrupted his rambling. I was unsure if I was hearing the correct word, so I had to ask in English, but it wasn't like he knew the English word for it. "Yes, he's been depressed for years. I mean, sometimes he seems happy, but it never really goes away. We all have our days, but Yoongi has always seemed..I don't know. He drinks a lot sometimes too. Not enough to make him act out, but still consecutively. His therapist-" I had already known about Suga's drinking habits, we talked about it while I was pregnant and it died down. He'd barely drink then, but a therapist? I had no idea. "He has a therapist? How come I never knew about all this?" I asked. "He doesn't like talking about it. I shouldn't really be telling you this, just talk to him. He does need you, the both of you. All he does is talk about Kae. I mean Holly helps kind of..I guess, but not in the way that him having a family would help.—" "What is up with everyone saying family today? We're not that serious Tae. The only thing keeping us civil is the fact that we have a child together and just because someone has a child with another person does not mean they should be forced to be a 'family'!" I raised my voice, feeling overwhelmed. Realizing that I had no right to become aggravated with Taehyung I apologized immediately after. "Mianhe ~ oppa. I've just been being forced to make so many big decisions lately. I didn't mean to be rude." He smiled reassuringly. "I know. You and hyung aren't-" he pauses mid-sentence before continuing. "-—together?" He finished. "Not exactly. Not officially, I guess." I answered. Suddenly, he nodded off oddly..Yes, oddly even for V.
