Drake woke up to Nicki's voice. "Wake up Aubrey." Nicki nudged him.

At first he thought he was dreaming but the firm grip of his hand on her ass let him know otherwise.

How long had she been there and how long had he been sleeping was two things he needed to know.

He closed his eyes and reopened them and there she was. Still laying on top of him. It wouldn't have been so unexpected but because of the fact that they hadn't talked or had a civil conversation outside of work related topics, it was very unexpected. Almost weird.

He took in her appearance. Long black locks in a bun, white tank, and from the feel of her ass, she had on tights or yoga pants. 'Definitely yoga pants.' Drake thought to himself. After analyzing her appearance he knew she'd had a bad day and finally got to the point where she needed to see the one person who could make it better.

That was the thing about being her best friend. Even though this was the most serious fight they'd gotten into, he knew they would bounce back eventually.

"Why are you staring at me?" She looked at him curiously before sitting up on top of him.

"Trying to figure out why you're here... though I think I know. Did baby girl have a bad day and she needs papi to make it all better?" He asked placing his hands on her waist and Nicki tried not to giggle. It was only around one p.m.

"You know me well." She gave a small smile and he reached up to kiss her cheek and the corner of her mouth.

"Of course I do baby. I'm hungry. We can go downstairs so I can make lunch and you can tell me all about it."

"Okay, I'll meet you in the kitchen." She headed out of the room, knowing he probably needed to use his bathroom.

"Sandwiches okay?" He yelled.

"Subs?"

"Yeah."

"I'll get the stuff out." Nicki smiled. He was the best sandwich maker ever. Of course he knew how to cook. There was nothing that she knew of that he was bad at but his sandwiches were to die for.

When Drake came downstairs to the kitchen, Nicki had everything out, waiting for him.

"You cut your hair." Nicki commented after noticing his waves instead of the curls she'd grown accustomed to.

"Yeah. I thought you would've noticed earlier since you were watching me sleep." He smiled.

"Shut up and I liked my scruffy drizzy though." Nicki pouted but smiled. "Anyway...you still wanna know about my day?"

"I'm listening." He smiled before slicing the meat.

"Why do I get the feeling that you're gonna laugh? You don't seem serious right now." Nicki accused and Drake gave her a smile.

"I seriously wanna know about your day. I'm not laughing. I'm just happy you're here..." He looked at her before looking down at the cutting board. The way she had her hair up, the way she was dressed, it was like they had gone backwards in time."like old times."

Nicki decided to ignore the obvious elephant in the room and continued on. "Well for starters, I just needed some quiet time. I've been doing so much lately. American Idol, magazines, videos, studio. I'm just tired and I want to relax...then my—" Nicki stopped talking, not wanting to say it as to not upset Drake.

"Boyfriend?"

"Yeah...he just stresses me out. He demands too much of me and I get this feeling that its not really working out. Like today, he just blatantly ignored me. Like he got over the fact that I'm Nicki Minaj. Nicki motherfucking Minaj. Nigga I demand attention all day every day and he just acts like he doesn't care." Drake heard her voice crack like she was about to cry.
