After his birthday, Bucky started to visit Rebecca at least three times a week. Sometimes he would take James with him, but usually when he was gone, you and James would go over to the Avengers Tower. You may be wondering how you were allowed to stay at the Avengers Tower, owned by Tony Stark, the man who kicked your family out into the street? The answer to that question is quite simple. Tony didn't know.
You see, Tony and Pepper were vacationing in Chile. Tony had told Jarvis to alert him if you, Bucky, or even James tried to enter the building, but Steve had persuaded Jarvis to allow at least you into the building without having to notify Tony. So, while Bucky and Rebecca were catching up, you would go to the tower and get to see all of the drama.
One day, there was tension in the air of the tower as you entered the living space. Thor and Natasha were glaring at each other, Clint was throwing insults, Steve was yelling at Clint to stop swearing, and Bruce was acting as the banker. Yes, the Avengers were playing a heated game of Life. You walked closer to the table they sat around, but only Bruce noticed you.
"I DON'T HAVE ANY MORE ROOM IN MY CAR FOR MORE CHILDREN!!!!" yelled Clint whose Life car was overflowing with little plastic people. He turned to Thor. "If you'd have let me use the yellow car, I wouldn't be in this mess! That is my lucky car! I always use it!" Everyone rolled their eyes. Natasha turned the spinner.
"A tornado destroyed my house. Great." said Natasha. "Bruce, I need to pick a house card." Bruce handed her the deck, and she grabbed a deck. "Finally! I got the nice farm house!" Steve looked glum.
"That's my favorite house. I was hoping to get it." said Steve.
"Well, you know, Cap, if you hadn't gone to college, you would have been able to get your house sooner!" said Clint tauntingly.
"I still do not fully understand the concept of this game." said Thor. "Why would you want to play out a fake scenario of life when you could be living your own?"
"Good point, Thor." you said. Nat, Thor, Clint, and Steve all jumped. They all stared at you.
"Oh, (Y/N), I didn't realize you were here already." said Steve. "Does anyone else want to quit playing?" Everyone nodded their heads.
"Whose idea was it to play Life? I mean, it's not the most normal thing to walk into the Avengers Tower and see the Avengers playing a board game. I will say it looks amusing. Better watch out though. You his wouldn't want the paparazzi getting pictures of this. People will think that you aren't doing your job."
"It was Nat's idea." said Bruce. "Since Tony's not here, and the earth seems to be safe for now, we've been kind of bored." You all walked over to the couches.
"Are the Jameses at the nursing home?" asked Natasha. You nodded your head.
"You don't know how much Bucky loves being able to see Rebecca again. He talks about her everyday and worries about he when he isn't there." you said laughing.
"How is she doing?" asked Steve. You sighed.
"I know that she's glad to see Bucky, but I think she's upset about what he has to see her go through. I can tell whenever I go with him to the nursing home, she's not as well as she was on his birthday. Even though he's there at least three times a week, Rebecca's memory is starting to fade. It will be a hard day for Bucky if she even just hesitates to all him by his name. It won't be long now. It took her a little while to even remember who I was last week. I'm really glad that Bucky has gotten to see her again, after all this time with them being separated, but is it really worth it if her health starts to deteriorate with him present?" Everyone was silent. You had never voiced your concerns about Rebecca in front of anyone before. Steve put a hand on your shoulder.
"If anything happens to Becky, we'll all be there for you and Bucky." Everyone nodded their heads in agreement. You all were silent for a few moments before Bruce spoke up.
"(Y/N), I wanted to tell you that I did finally track down your old friend (Y/B/F/N)." You stared wide eyed at Bruce suddenly feeling excited.
"You did? Where is she? What happened to her? Did she have a family? Who did she marry? Was it...oh, what was his name....Hodge! Did she marry a man with the last name of Hodge?" Everyone laughed at your eagerness to find out about (Y/B/F/N).
"Give me a minute. I'll go get you the documents I found about her." said Bruce standing up to head to his and Tony's lab.

Alexander Pierce sat drumming his fingers on his desk. The initiation of Second Sight had been successful. He wasn't at the same level as the Soldier was, but he was coming along nicely. But Pierce needed the expertise of the Soldier if his plan was going to be perfect. Nothing could go wrong. One small slip up, and it could be the end of Hydra. He couldn't afford a loss like this. He called in Dr. Theodore Jacklby, head of all of the recon missions, and the man in charge of working with those who have recently come out of the cryofreeze and those who need more "persuasion" to do Hydra's bidding.
"Yes, sir?" Pierce stared at Dr. Jacklby for a few moments.
"We need another weapon."
"But, Sir, we have already gotten Second Sight ready for you. There are no other experiments that we could ready for you. We already had to rush Sight's de-freezing. You may remember that there was an error in the initial freezing. He was supposed to be frozen for 20 years like the Winter Soldier, but here was an error with his cryofreezing. Someone didn't initiate the freezing. He escaped, and Hydra had to spend all of the summer of 1953, when he was captured, trying to track him down. Eventually he was tracked down to a small town in Norway and brought back here. I think that the reason the cryofreeze wasn't initiated was because..." Pierce raised his hand to silence Jacklby.
"Enough, Dr. There is still another experiment you are forgetting about." Pierce slid a folder across the table towards Dr. Jacklby. On the cover it said "1967 - Operation:Snapdragon." There was a large mark from a stamp that said "Failed." Dr. Jacklby looked surprised.
"Sir, Operation Snapdragon was a complete failure. We aren't even sure if she is still alive. If anyone knew about the testing that she endured, we would be put in prison for life! You couldn't possibly be considering putting her into service!"
"Dr., we could be put in prison for much worse things, and actually, I am planning on putting her into service. Get her ready to be unfrozen."
"Please, Sir! Think this through! Why do you even need her? You have Second Sight!" Pierce calmly looked at Dr. Jacklby.
"Dr., I recently lost my best assassin. Now, I need all the help I can get as I try to get another one back. If I can finally have The Three together at last, I will have achieved my goal as the leader of Hydra. With the three best assassins in the world, granted they will need training, especially Winter, all world nations will be on their knees pleading us to show them mercy. That, Dr. Jacklby is why I need Snapdragon and Second Sight together. So they can help me reclaim Winter."
