*Heyyyy! So Hamilton... I would suggest that you listen to it... You'll be Back is my favorite song in it.. So yeah... I saw Ghostbusters the night before it officially came out. IT IS FREAKING AMAZING!!!! ALL THOSE HATERS WHO WERE BAD MOUTHING IT BEFORE IT CAME OUT CAN JUST GO AWAY!!!! (clears throat) Let's get back to the story, shall we?*

--------------------------------------------------

You felt something happen in the region of your heart after Bucky said those seven words. Was it your heart breaking? It sure felt like it. He just kept staring at you with wide eyes, waiting for you to respond, but you couldn't. You were drawing a blank, and you wanted to curl up in a ball and block everything and everyone out. Except for Bucky. You couldn't block him out. He was in so much distress that it would be cruel to turn you back on him. That wasn't even an option. He needed you now more than ever.

"You don't remember, Bucky?" He shook his head. "What is the last thing you remember?" He thought for a moment.

"Steve and I were on a train controlled by Hydra. Zola was on the train. We fought off a soldier in some weird armor, Steve and I did. Then after we thought he was knocked out, he came to and blasted at me while I was holding the shield. It knocked a hole in the side of the train, and I held on to a rail, trying not to let go. Steve was trying to grab my hand, but the rail came loose, and I fell down a gorge. I passed out on the way down apparently. What happened? Are you ok? How long was I out? How did you get here? Where are we?" You took a deep breath before trying to explain everything to Bucky.

"Bucky, a lot has happened since then. It isn't the 40s and more. It is 2016, and we are in New York. We are both fine." Bucky looked a little like a deer in the headlights. You understood how confusing everything seemed to him since you had endured the same feeling about two and a half years prior. He just sat there stunned with his mouth open for a few minutes before he finally looked at you again.

"What happened to the baby?" He said quietly. You smiled a reassuring smile.

"He's perfectly healthy, although he is approximately 70." Bucky grinned.

"He?" You nodded your head.

'Yeah, and I followed your directions and named him after you. His name is James Steven Barnes, and he is downstairs with Thor right now." Bucky looked puzzled.

"Who's Thor?" You laughed.

"A friend of Steve and I's. You'll meet him soon enough." You didn't bother mentioning the fact that he had already met Thor. It would be easier to just not mention anything that had happened since Bucky had been rescued from the Hydra base all those months ago.

"Steve is here too?" Bucky stood up, since the head doctor had told you both that they were done examining him. He looked around trying to catch a glimpse of his best friend.

"He was standing just over there a few minutes ago." you said pointing over towards were Bruce sat talking to Natasha. You had noticed a small relationship growing between the two of them over the past few months. The thought of it made you smile (#Brutasha4lyfe).

"How come you're flashing your Ain't it Great to be Alive smile?" You just shook your head and looked Bucky in the eyes.

"It's nothing, but I sure am glad to have you back." You wrapped your arms around his neck and pulled him in for a hug. He placed one of his hands on your back and the other held your head. You then rested your foreheads against each other's and just stood there taking in each others presence. While you hadn't seen him for only about a week, in his mind he hadn't seen you for 70 years, give or take a few months. The road to recovery was going to be a rocky one. That was obvious to everyone.
