Chapter 15

    I woke up this morning feeling groggy.

Ramdam kong may hindi magandang mangyayari ngayon. I just know it and my instincts were never wrong.

Ano naman kaya iyon?

Napa-iling nalang ako, I set aside the feeling and did my morning rituals before heading off to school

Pero para makasigurado, I brought extra daggers  with me na itinago ko sa loob ng uniform ko.

Nagkita kami ni Raven sa loob ng classroom.

All through out the morning, the feeling didn't left my senses. I just can't shake the feeling that something terribly wrong is gonna happen. 

Lunch break came again and like yesterday, the three of us shared the table.

Mula nung insidente kahapon, she would thank me at every chance she'd get at nagsisimula na akong mairita.

She had everything I hate in a person; weak,  fragile and annoying. Thank God she's not a bitch.  

Di ko siya gusto but for some reason, di na ako nag abalang lumayo.

Have I gone soft?

"Hey Haru- chan! "

"What? "

"You're spacing out, di ka nakikinig sa akin? " she said pouting.

I just rolled my eyes.

"What's new? Di naman talaga ako nakikinig sayo."

"Psh mean ka talaga kahit kailan Haru-chan, buti nalang nandito si Cass para di na ako magmumukhang tangang nagsasalita mag-isa." she beamed and Cassiopeia slightly smiled at her.

Magsasalita pa sana siya nang tumunog yung cellphone niya.

She checked the caller and looked at me meaningfully.

"Excuse me lang,  sasagutin ko lang to, mukhang importante" sabi niya tsaka umalis.

Now I'm left in the table with Cassiopeia in an awkward atmosphere. We were silent until she broke it.

"Uhmm...Th--"

"If you're gonna start thanking me again I swear this fork will go straight to your eye. "

Itinaas ko ang tinidor na hawak ko.

Instead of cowering in fear,  I was really shocked when she smiled.

" I..i was wondering kung pwede ba kitang maging kaibigan?"

Tinignan ko lang siya at di sumagot. I watched her as she lowered her head na para bang iiyak na.

"I...ahm...Na-naiintindihan ko kung di mo ako gustong maging kaibigan, di na kita ulit guguluhin" nakayuko pa rin siya at nakita kong may tumulong luha mula sa mukha niya.

Once again an awkward silence filled the atmosphere between us.

Damn, I just made a girl cry but why should I care,  I'm heartless right?

Napabuntong hininga nalang ako.

"You know,  you're really stupid..."

Simula ko and I saw her flinch in response. Nakita kong napayukom siya ng kamay. Magsasalita na sana siya pero inunahan ko na.

"If I didn't want you here, I should have left a while ago and I wouldn't be talking to you right now. "

She instantly raised her head at nagliwanag yung mukha niya.
