Chapter 25

Haruka

"Listen up students, next week will be our annual intramurals. As your P. E. teacher, I require you to join a sport event. No sports event, no grade. Got it?"

Napuno ng daing at reklamo ang room sa pahayag nito. Kadalasan dito ay galing sa mga maarteng babae sa klase.

"Got it?! " ulit pa ng p.e. teacher namin.

"Yes sir! " sigaw namin.

Isa pa itong terror teacher, he is very strict and uptight. He was a former military officer but he resigned and decided to be a teacher here instead.

"Okay, dismiss." sabi niya at lumabas na. The moment he walked out of the room  nagdiwang ang lahat.

Pag kasi siya ang magklase, we are not allowed to slouch. We are like military cadets during his class. He instills military discipline and all that.

"Haru-chan tara na" tawag ni Raven sa akin.

P. E. ang huling subject namin sa umaga and since Sir Javier, the P. E. teacher, consumed more than the time that was allotted for his class, it is already lunch time kaya dumiretso na kami sa cafeteria. This time, ako ang nagpaiwan at si Raven ang nag-order. My arm still hurts matapos madaplisan ng bala kahapon. It was a bit deep but I can still move my hand.

Sumampa lang ako sa table when I felt the seat beside me was now occupied.

It was Claude and Venz. Sumunod naman sina Angelo at Raven dala ang pagkain.

Napadalas na rin ang pagsabay nila sa amin, though I don't really like the idea of being in the same table with the asshole named Angelo.

I sneered at him the moment they reached the table which he gladly returned with equal ferocity.

"Anong nangyari sa kamay mo Haruka at nakabenda? " nabaling ang atensiyon ko kay Venz dahil sa tanong niya,  he was curiously eyeing me and the wound on my hand.

"Nasabit sa alambre." tipid kong sagot.

Napatango tango nalang siya. But I don't really know if he accepted my reason.

Magsasalita pa sana siya ng sumingit si Raven, I think she sensed what Venz is trying to do.

"Ay, intrams na pala next week, ano sports ninyo?" sabi niya.

Natigilan ang iba at nag-isip

"I always join basketball, so its basketball for me" sabi ni Angelo

"Me too. Di niyo yata alam, varsity ako. Oh diba, gwapo na, varsity pa. " pagmamayabang ni Venz.

" Walang nagtatanong sayo.." sabi ni Raven.

Agad natigilan si Venz sa sinabi niya. I thought that he was just offended by her words but I think its something else.

He deeply eyed Raven. He seemed to be in deep thoughts.

"Bakit ka nakatingin sa akin ng ganyan?" sabi ni Raven.

"May tao lang akong naaalala sayo" sabi nito na agad ikina-ilang ni Raven kaya iniba niya ang subject.

"Ikaw, Claude, anong sasalihan mo? "

"Chess" he monotonously said not taking his eyes of the book his reading.

"Sorry late" biglang sulpot ni Cassiopeia.

She had her hair all disheveled and sticking off in all pieces. Her eyeglass was a bit slanted.

Napatingin kami lahat sa kanya.
