Emma
I looked down at my phone as my math teacher talked on and on about some stuff I already know. I was talking to Alice. We were skyping actually.
I had the camera on, and was sitting I the back of the room. She was muted and listened to my teacher talk while I made weird imitations and faces.
Some of the kids in my class gave me weird looks for doing this, but I just flipped them off and they went on with their day. I'm surprised no one had told on me yet.
Alice's room was dark except for the faint light of the moon and her fairy lights. I could just make out her face, covered by her hands as she laughed a silent laugh.
Silent to me anyways. She had already gotten yelled at twice. I would have gotten yelled at to if she wasn't muted.
"So." My teacher said. "What would the answer to this be, Emma?"
I looked up, surprised.
"What are you doing back there?" She asked.
"Nothing, Ms. Dickson." I dragged out the beginning.
"I'm going to have to take that." She pursed her lips.
"Stay in the call, you can listen still." I told Alice in the chat.
"LMAOOOOO OK."
I handed Ms. Dickson my phone. She glared at it like she wanted to smash it and put it on her desk.
