"Honey could you help me clean the house before everyone arrives?" Momma called.
I sighed, closing my laptop. It's two days before thanksgiving and basically all my mom's side of the family is coming. Some will get here today, some tomorrow, others on thanksgiving. But of course I have to clean up after my brothers.
"Coming!" I put my laptop on my bed and venture downstairs.
"I haven't seen you all day." She commented.
"It's only like one."
"In the afternoon."
"Well I woke up like half an hour ago."
She handed me a cloth. "Get dusting, Alice."
I dragged the cloth over the countertops, swept the floor, and cleaned the dishes.
"Go run off while I finish up." Momma told me.
"Thank you." I hurried to my room. "My family is coming over for thanksgiving kms" I dmed Emma.
"I'm not doing anything for thanksgiving" She replied.

"I do every year so I'm used to it :)"
"Ah" I answered her. Sometimes I feel bad for Emma. Sometimes I think she is lucky. She doesn't have a lot of money, had a horrible step father, her mom works all the time, and doesn't have a lot of friends. But she has a nice mother, boyfriend goals, and her friends that she does have are close to her. I sighed. Just about the opposite of me.
I turned on some music while I organized my room. Not much to organize considering I'm a neat freak. Everything was in perfect place after a minute or two. I dmed Emma. "Yo"
