Meeting

December 21st
Alice
"Go outside" I dmed Emma
"Why it's freezing??"
"Just do it"
"Why do you care if I go outside, anyways"
"Cause there is something you don't wanna miss"
"Like?"
"JUST DO IT" I grew impatient.
"Ok but there better not be some murderer"
I heard a door open, a bit of light flood onto the street. I handed my phone to my mom. And ran. "Emma!"
She turned around and stood still, surprised. Then she too ran to me. When I got to her I jumped into her arms so that we both fell into a snow drift.
"Oh my god!" She squealed, holding me away. She hugged me again. "It's really you!"
"It is. It's not a dream." I smiled, tears rolling down my cheeks.
"I've waited three fucking years for this." Emma sobbed.
"Me too." I smiled.
"Well, uh, you wanna come inside."
"Yes, of course." I smiled, motioning Mom over. I followed her into the tiny house.
"Who's this?" Emma's mom asked.
"A old friend." Emma and I shared a smile. "Hey, can Alice sleep over tonight?"
"How long have you known her?" Her mom asked.
"A few years."
"Um, I don't see why not."
My mom considered it. "Of course, dear."
"Yes!" We both squealed.
"You can borrow some of my clothes." Emma told me, leading me down a shirt hallway to her small room. "I don't have many, but whatever."
"My dad gave me two hundred dollars in American money to spend so let's go shopping tomorrow." I decided.
"K." Emma tossed me a long shirt with some comfortable-looking shorty shorts.
"Hey, we wear like the same thing to bed." I laughed.
"I usually sleep in my clothes." Emma laughed.
I got quickly changed while Emma texted someone. I came over to spy on her texts. "Who are you texting?"
"Luke." She said.
"What did he say?"
"I was just telling him about you. By the way, how long are you staying?" Emma asked.
"Until December twenty sixth." I replied.
"Ok, then you can meet him."
"Nice." I winked.

December 24th
Emma
Alice just came over. I hugged her as I do every time I see her. "Yo I'm going to Luke's house today for a Christmas party and you can come!"
"Really? But I don't even know him-"
"Your gonna meet him." I cut in. "Loosen up. Have some fun. Oh yeah, the only bad part is that we have to wear dresses."
"What's so bad about dresses?"
"They're dresses." I shuddered. "I don't like short ones."
"Then don't wear a short one." Alice pointed out.
"The only dress I have is a really short, skinny one my mom gave me."
"So what, wear it. I have one like that. Speaking of which, I think I'm gonna wear it." Alice replied.
"It's so revealing though." I complained.
"You've been dating him for like three years who cares?"
"Whatever." I laughed.

I knocked on Luke's door, Alice next to me. "How are you not nervous." I whispered.
"I've been to a million parties." She replied.
The door opened. It was Luke. He gaped for a second, then shook his head. "Hey, Emma and... Alice, right?"
"You got it."
I kicked her. "No flirting with my boyfriend!"
"I wasn't flirting!"
"Well, come in." He invited us.

December 26th
Alice
A car horn beeped from outside. It was my family, picking me up from Emma's house to drive to the airport. I shared a sorrowful glance with Emma.
She walked me to the car, then turned. "So this is goodbye?"
"Not quite." I replied. "I'll dm you when I get home. By the way, these days have been the best few days of my life."
"Same here." Emma agreed.
She engulfed me in a hug and I started to cry.
"I love you."
"Love you to, sister."
"Bye." I nodded, opening the car door up and hopping in. As we drove away I looked out the back window. Emma was making half a heart with her hand. I made the other half and alined them to make a heart.
I whispered, "We are close, maybe not in distance but in heart." 

Yooooo that was the last chapter ;) I'll be making another story about a fandom school shortly so expect that :)
