Chapter 14

Morning...

Jen POV

I woke up, and saw Riker sleeping peacefully next to my bed. He was snoring softly, and it was really cute.

"Riker."

I moved so I was hanging halfway off the bed, and I poked Riker's arm.

"Riker."

He slowly opened his eyes, staring up at me.

"Hey... Good morning..." Riker said, turning over onto his stomach.

"Get up, please," I said, sliding off my bed, next to him.

"Mmmm... Why?"

"Because you can sleep later."

"Mmmm... Fine..."

Riker sat up slowly, rubbing his eyes. His hair was sticking up in all directions. I laughed a little about it.

"What?" Riker asked.

Riker smiled, and took my hand.

"Ok. Well I say, we try kayaking again."

"Oh boy..."

"What? I did good last time! And then the storm had to come and ruin it..."

"Check the weather first."

"Ok."

Riker grabbed his phone.

"Riker."

"I know! I'm trying to go straight!"

I heard Jen laughing behind me.

"This isn't very easy, you know," I said, trying to steer.

"Riker, it's not that hard. You just need some practice."

A big gust of wind came, and turned the kayak around. We were facing the direction we'd just come from. I slowly turned around to face Jen, and she was smirking at me.

"You noticed that?" I asked.

"Yup."

I turned back around, and spun us around again. I continued paddling.

"My arms are getting tired," I said, resting for a moment.

"Here. Give it to me. I want to do something."

I handed Jen the paddle. I turned back around, facing forward. Jen was doing something behind me, making the kayak wobble a little.

"What are you-"
