Zaria met Malachi's eyes, then the rest of the group's. She had slunk back behind Mal. He spoke, "Well, we all heard her. If the Queen wants us to go, then I guess we should..." He lightly held onto Zaria, and looked to Caspian. Malachi nodded, ready for him to take them to Pandemonium.
Zaria was slightly thrilled by the fact of "seeing" the human realm. She nodded to Caspian as well, ready to take on anything.
Caspian spoke, "Guys... Better prepare yourselves again. We're going to Pandemonium!"
He opened the portal. Zaria walked over since she could "see" the portal. Bad idea. Demitri decided to unceremoniously 'help' her into it. Zaria tumbled through the portal as the others followed close behind. After a few seconds Zaria, Malachi, Rhys, and Demitri land in a pile. Seraphim and Caspian landed gracefully, well-practiced since they traveled all the time.
Mal looked around, "Whoa! Whoa! Ok. Where. Are. We!! Wait... Zaria you ok?" He lifts her up. Although he didn't feel too well. He leans down, placing his head on the floor.
"I told you some of you wouldn't agree with the traveling." Cas spoke with a hint of a laugh in his voice. He looked over, seeing Zaria already investigating his apartment. Caspian hadn't known where else to take them, so they were in his "human" home.
Zaria had already found tools and was disassembling a clock from the wall.
"Really?" Cas stopped and sighed.
"Zaria that's a clock... And don't-- oh never mind." He stared hopelessly at the pieces in her hands.
"S-Sorry... I can put it back together..."
Zaria began putting it back, exactly as before.
"I told the Queen the truth: she's the top inventor in our realm, and always has been. She's the youngest and smartest as well," Malachi spoke sounding proud.
"She's weak. I can tell..." Demitri spoke with a cold tone. Sephiram laughed a bit, adding to what Demitri said. "That... and there's something about her..."
Sephiram met her gaze and smirked. Zaria looked away then mounted the clock where she'd found it.
"Hey don't be an ass to my sister!" Mal clenched his fist angrily. Caspian sighed then looked at Rhys. The sight made him laugh.
Rhys stared through a kaleidoscope with wonder, as he made faces with each pattern change. "That's called a Kaleidoscope. It's amazing huh?"
"Yeah..." Rhys sounded distant, but not in a bad way. Caspian looked at the others: Demitri and Sephiram whispered between each other, Mal was in the floor and Zaria was now messing with an outlet. Cas quickly stopped her.
"That has the potential to kill you! So please... Don't stick the screwdriver in there..." He watched her nod slowly then decided to take the screwdriver away. "Here hand that over till you know what everything is..."
She handed it to him and sat with Mal.
"Don't doubt her..." Malachi spoke, sounding sick.
Rhys had somewhat come back. "Who are we not doubting..?" He asked curiously.
Cas sighed with Seph. This was going to be a long and frustrating wait. Zaria sighed as well. She thought to herself; 'I should be back at home... Making weapons...' Demitri sat down, making a point to glare daggers at anyone she looked at.
