Leighton's POV

The hug was the most intimate I had gotten with a guy around my age in a while, and I couldn't stop myself from blushing. This hug didn't feel like a friendly gesture. It felt meaningful, and I wouldn't lie and say I didn't feel loved right then and there.

I hid my face in his shoulder and we just stood there, holding each other like our life depended on it.

About five minutes later, we let go and a wave of emptiness was evidently flowing through my
body. I felt like a child who just got their candy taken away by their mother, then was told that they would never be allowed to eat the deliciousness ever again. I am an odd fellow.

Why am I feeling this way? Why do I feel so empty inside now? What is happening to me? Is this normal? Can this be a normal thing for people?

We stood there silently looking at each other, before we started to walk upstairs towards our rooms. Once at our doors, we looked at each other, said our goodbyes and goodnights, then both headed into the rooms without a second glance.

*The Next Morning*

I woke up with the sound of the hotels phone going off. Grunting softly, I got up and picked up the phone. "Hello?" I question, confused as to why they are calling at this time of day. Gosh. It's barely even day.

"Yes, sir. I would like to say your food will be up in about an hour and a half." The person in the phone informs, yet confused me even more.

Because I am still half asleep, I don't understand what the hell they're talking about. I say a quick "Okay" and "Thank you," before I hang up. I silently lay back down before darkness takes over my once more.

Elliot stands up and walks towards more, before getting on one knee.

"You made me what I am today. You showed me what love was. You helped me through dark times. You loved me when I was lonely. You held me when I cried. You did what no one else would and was afraid to do. You loved me, and quite frankly, I hope you still do after all these years," he stops for a few seconds, chuckling to himself, "I know we aren't getting any younger and I don't want to risk loosing you again. Will you do me the honor and make me the happiest man alive. Will you ..."

I woke up, startled, with the sound of quiet knocking. I sprint to the door, opening it suddenly, before peering out. Because it was dark in my room and light in the hallway, my eyes had to adjust to the light and I couldn't see well, but once I saw who it was, I was a mess.

"E-Elliot?" I ask, slightly in aw of what I saw before me.

I checked him out without getting caught. How can someone look so hot in such a plain outfit?

"Yes it's me. I know it's really early, and I'm sorry to wake you, but I was wondering if I could borrow you for about an hour?" He asks, looking quite nervous.

I rub my eyes, when I notice my appearance. I'm wearing nothing but plaid boxers. I blush before saying, "Yeah just let me get ready."

"No," He says abruptly. "you look... incredible the way you are right now."

My face probably went about fifty shades of red right then and there. I pull the door forwards, covering myself sort of, slightly insecure about what I look like.
