Long ago, two races ruled over Earth: Humans and Monsters. One day, they all dissapeared without a trace.
Everything was dark. I don't know where I was or what I was standing on or what. I just walked forward. Suddenly, Flowey's horrible smiling face appeared on some huge screen somewhere in front of me. I groaned. I had forgotten that he had been stalking me the entire time. I led him straight to Asgore. The screen flickered between static and Flowey's face. "It's me, Flowey. He winked and stuck his tongue out. "FLOWEY the FLOWER! I owe you a HUGE thanks. You really did a number on that old fool. Without you, I NEVER could have gotten past him. But now, with YOUR help..." Flowey's face changed, suddenly becoming Asgore's face encircled by petals. Then, it contorted into a skull. "He's DEAD." Flowey smiled horribly, showing all his teeth. "And I'VE got the human SOULs!" The screen became static and went out. I heard Flowey snicker. His face appeared again. "Boy! I've been empty for so long... It feels great to have a SOUL inside me again." He winked. "Mmmm, I can feel them wriggling... Aww, you're feeling left out, aren't you? Well, that's just perfect. After all, I only have six SOULs. I still need one more..." He smiled that creepy, closed-mouth smile again. His voice became even raspier. "Before I become GOD." He showed his teeth again. "And then, with my newfound powers... Monsters." His face became Toriel's! "Humans." His face became my own blank face. Well, now I know what I lookel ike as a flower. "Everyone." Three little dots circled each other inside the petals." Flowey's center then became black. His eyes and wide smile were white. "I'll show them all the REAL meaning of this world." The screen went out and Flowey snickered again. It came back on. His face and voice were back to normal. "Oh, and forget about escaping to your old SAVE file. It's gone FOREVER." Did that mean I couldn't manipulate time? "But don't worry. Your old friend Flowey... has worked out a replacement for you!" His face became truly terrifying. His eyes were black, his mouth was wide, showing sharp teeth. "I'll SAVE over your own death." His eyes got wider and his tongue lolled out. "So you can watch me tear you to bloody pieces... over, and over, and over..."
That sounded like hell. He couldn't be serious. I had to be in a nightmare. Maybe Asgore had killed me again, and I passed out? No... even if this wasn't real, I couldn't let Flowey win. I stepped forward. "... what? Do you really think you can stop ME? Hee hee hee..." His face went back to normal. "You really ARE an idiot."
Out of the darkness, something huge came at me. Of all the monsters I'd seen, this was easily the most monstrous. The most terrible. The most absurd. I couldn't believe it. I had to be dreaming. I'd never felt fear like this before.
There was absolutely no way to accurately describe this... thing. There was a screen, with a face on it. It had a wide mouth and sideways eyes that flashed red and green. The screen was perched on top of a large pink thing with two eyes on either side of it, two holes in the top like nostrils, and long, sideways jaws. On either side of the screen was another, larger pair of eyes, and surrounding this whole thing were pipes formed into the shape of petals. Two thick, thorny vines slid back and forth from the sides of it, and another pair of vines were huge arms reaching down to me, ending in bright red claws. The rest of this thing seemed to be a mix of plant and machine parts. It looked like some horrible abomination created on Photoshop.
The thing attacked. Vines shot out from the base of it, trying to impale me. I moved around frantically, but I couldn't avoid them. Then rings of Flowey's bullets appeared all over the place. Blowtorches shot fire at me. Hundreds of white throwing stars spiraled out at me. I hacked at Photoshop Flowey with my knife, but it didn't do much good. Suddenly, the screen flashed red: 'WARNING'. The light blue SOUL appeared beneath it. The SOUL attacked. I was surorunded by twirling blades. I managed to find an empty space between the blades where I couldn't get hit. I was so low on energy. "Help!" I cried. "Somebody, help!"

FanfictionThis is a novel version of Undertale's Pacifist Run. I hope it reads like a novel, rather than simply a narration of the game. Almost all dialogue is taken directly from the game (except for the protagonist's, which is obviously improvised). In the...
