Letting out a breath, I looked at him. "Listen, Scott, we need to talk about this morning."

He sighed, looking away for a moment before meeting my eyes. "Yeah, we do."

"Do you...want to do this here?" I asked, unsure of how to move forward.
"Here, or...my trailer, your trailer," Scott suggested, shrugging. "Doesn't matter to me."

I sighed, nodding towards my trailer. "Why don't we do this in my trailer," I responded.

He nodded slowly, following me towards my trailer. I unlocked the door, stepping inside. Scott followed, standing as I sat on my bed, setting down my bag. "So..." I started, looking at my hands.

"I...want to apologize," Scott stated, making me look up. "For a few things."

"Scott..."

"No, just...hear me about," he said, holding out his hands. "One, I shouldn't have ran this morning. It was cowardly, and stupid."

"You weren't a coward," I told him.
"Yes, I was," he said. "I should have...stayed to talk about it. And that goes into number two. I..shouldn't have kissed you."

"What?" I whispered, feeling my nerves sky rocket.

Scott shook his head, looking at the floor. "You were...are vulnerable. I was...inconsiderate, and didn't think about what you were feeling."

I stood from the bed, shaking my head. "Scott, you just have to ask how I feel," I said, reaching forward and taking his hands in mine. "How I've felt for a long time, and...how that kiss this morning made me feel."

Scott's bright blue eyes stared into mine as he whispered, "How do you feel about me, Mitch?"

I smiled softly. "I like you. A lot, and not just as a friend."

The smile on his face was almost instantaneous, and he pulled me closer. "I feel the exact same," he whispered. "The moment I saw you...you stunned me."

I laughed softly, looking down at our intertwined hands. "You know how to compliment a girl, Scooter."

He laughed as he let go of one of my hands, using it to cup my cheek. His fingertips stroking my cheek made me meet his eyes again. "Only you," he whispered, before leaning in and kissing me.

I smiled into the kiss, letting go of his hands and wrapping my arm around his neck. His other hand moved to my waist, pulling me closer to him. The kiss lasted a few more amazing moments, before I pulled away.

Taking a deep breath, I kept my eyes closed as I rested my forehead against his. In Scott's arms, I felt completely safe, happy again.

Scott hummed softly, making me open my eyes again, meeting his gaze. "What?" I asked softly.

"A few things," Scott replied, his voice just as soft.

"Kay."

"One," he started, pulling me tighter against him. "That kiss was much better than the one this morning."
I laughed, nodding. "It was."

"Two," he continued, his smile wide. "I want to take you on a date. A real date."
I pulled away slightly, my grin growing if that was possible. "Really?"

"Of course I do!" He cried, laughing. "Mitch, I want this, us, to be real, to last."

"I do too," I replied, moving to stroke his cheek. "I just..." I sighed, looking down at his shirt. "I need to take this slow, okay?" Looking back into his eyes, I swallowed the lump growing in my throat. "Ralph...shook me up, badly."

"I don't doubt that," Scott replied, nodding. "And we will take this as slow as you want, okay? Ralph's an ass, but it doesn't look like he's leaving any time soon."

"I don't doubt that," I replied, sighing.

"But he's not going to touch you, okay?" Scott stated, cupping my cheek as he looked into my eyes. "Not with me around."

I smiled, leaning into his hand. "You're amazing," I whispered.

"You're pretty amazing yourself," He whispered in return, before leaning forward and kissing me again.

Kirstin sighed, moving down the line of trailers. "Scott?" She called. "Where are you, man? We were supposed to get together, go over lines!"

She stopped as the door to Mitch's trailer opened, Mitch and Scott stepping out.

Kirstin's eyes widened as she saw them holding hands, large smiles on their faces. "Oh," she stated.

"Hi, Kirstie," Mitch said, smiling.

"Did...is it..."

Scott chuckled, nodding. "You'll be the first to know that yes, we are together."

"Yes!" Kirstin cried, throwing her arms up.

Mitch laughed, shaking his head. "No need to scream, Kirstie."

"Yes there is!" Kirstin replied, moving towards them. "Now get over here!"
The couple laughed as Kirstin wrapped her arms around them both, Scott and Mitch returning the hug. "God, it took you two long enough," Kirstin commented, pulling away.

Mitch blushed while Scott shook his head. "Shut up," Scott said.

"Whatever," Kirstin replied, walking away as she pointed at Mitch. "I better see you tomorrow!"

"You will," Mitch replied, nodding. "On set and ready."

Kirstin winked at the two before turning the corner to leave them be. "Finally," She said, taking a deep breath.

I laughed as Kirstin walked away, resting my head on Scott's shoulder. "You know, we need to find her a man," I stated.

Scott laughed. "That might take a while."

I looked up at him, pouting slightly. "Why do you say that?" I asked.
He smiled, brushing his nose against mine. "Between work and us, I'm not gonna be able to focus on much else for a while."

I smiled, laughing. "God, you are such a smooth talker."

"Kinda the point," he replied, grinning before kissing me quickly.

I laughed as he kissed me quickly three more times, only making my laughter grow. "So, dinner?" he asked, pulling me down the aisle of trailers.

I laughed, shaking my head. "As our first official date?"

"No, no," he said, shaking his head. "I need time to plan that!" I laughed as he did. "No, this is just dinner, to celebrate... anything, you pick."

I bit my lip, before pulling him to a stop. Scott furrowed his eyebrow in an adorable way. "Let's celebrate... someone good coming into my life, to help me flush out all the bad Ralph let in me."

Scott smiled softly, resting his forehead against mine again. "Sounds perfect," he whispered, before kissing me.
