I let out a sigh of relief as Scott opened the front door, both of us walking into our apartment. "God, it feels so good to be back," I muttered, setting my bag down.
"You can say that again," Scott agreed, setting his bags beside mine. We knew without words that all of the unpacking would be left till tomorrow.
Scott moved to the fridge, smiling as he saw that there was still beer in the fridge. "Is it bad yet?" I asked, moving to the kitchen counter.
"Nope," my boyfriend replied, before handing me one as well, once he had popped it open. "Any good mail?"
I sighed, glancing at the large package. "All junk, bills and work."
Scott groaned as he wrapped his arms around me, resting his chin on my shoulder. "I hate that you have to work while I don't," he muttered.
"I know," I agreed, leaning back into him. "But it comes with the job description." Reaching to intertwine his fingers with my own, I closed my eyes, muttering, "At least I can stay here. Next big meeting is here in LA."
"Thank God for that," he agreed, before gently kissing my neck. "Don't think I could have you gone until filming starts."
I hummed in agreement, muttering, "Me neither." I knew it would be hard, but I had been comfortable when preparing for Ten Inch Hero, Scott just staying with me while I sketched. And I had a feeling the same would thing would happen now this time.
He hummed softly, starting to sway as he held me tighter. I giggled, my smile growing as I asked, "What are you doing?"
"Dancing with the love of my life," he replied, and I could feel his wide grin on my neck. "What does it look like?
My laughter grew as the sway grew, and I didn't stop him as Scott spun me around, making me face him. His arms stayed around my waist, and mine moved to his neck, Scott moving us around the kitchen.
"Are you going to do this every time we get back?" I asked him teasingly.
"Maybe," he replied, perking up. "I didn't think about that before!"
I laughed louder, resting my head against his shoulder. ""I love you," I said softly.
"I love you too," he replied, pulling me tighter to him.

Scott stepped into the cafe, looking around the setting. He smiled as he saw Betty at one of the tables, moving over to her. "Hey," she greeted, standing to hug him. "I'm so glad we could do this."
"Me too," Scott agreed, sitting across from her.
She glanced at the door, frowning her eyebrows. "Where's Mitch?"
Scott sighed. "He's already working on the next season of Supernatural."
Betty gasped, "He's working already? When is filming starting?"
"A month," Scott told her, not happy about it. Summer had felt so short already. "We both kinda hate that he has to work, but it happens."
"Yeah, sadly," Betty agreed.
"He did really want to come though," Scott added. "Felt so bad."
"Oh, he doesn't need to feel bad!" Betty insisted. "I'll call him, and tell him next time he's free, I'll clear my schedule."
Scott smiled, nodding. "That sounds perfect."
"So, want to order lunch?" Betty questioned.
"Yeah, I could eat anything right now," Scott replied, smiling.
