I took slow deep breaths, looking over the somewhat crowded room. Today was the official first day of preparing for Ten Inch Hero, otherwise known as the script read day. Scott was talking with a few of the other actors and actresses across the room, laughing and smiling. I was talking with the head of the hair team, and the head of costume. We all agreed that Priestly was an interesting character, and Sheila, the main hair stylist, was thrilled I was running his hair instead of her.
"I have some great ideas for Tish and Priestly's costumes," Sara, head of costume said.
"I'm sure it'll be perfect," I replied, smiling.
"This is your first movie, right?" Sheila asked.
I nodded, smiling. "Yeah, I mean, I work on the set of Supernatural, but from what I can tell, this is different."
"Movies are a lot different than tv shows," Sara said. "But in a good way. We'll be done filming before you know it."
"That sounds great," I responded.
"Mitch."
I turned, smiling as I saw Scott moving towards me, with a woman by his side. I could feel my heart rate spike as she smiled up at him, Scott smiling back. down at her, a smile on his face.
"Betty, this is Mitch," he said, before looking at you. "Mitch, meet Betty, an old friend. She's playing Tish"
I forced a smile on my face, trying not to let my mind focus on the fact that she was an old friend, but Scott hadn't given me a title at all. Not only that, but she was playing Tish- the girl that ends up with Priestly in the end. Scott had told me he was bisexual when we first started dating, but that I had nothing to worry about. And I hadn't. Holding out a hand to her, trying to ignore the jealousy building in me, I said, "It's nice to meet you."
"It's so good to meet the man Scottie finally moved in with," she replied smiling widely.
I laughed slightly, my smile growing as Scott shifted, wrapping an arm around my waist. "Well, I'm pretty lucky," I replied, looking up at him.
"That's my line," he replied, leaning down to brush his nose against mine.
"Awww, aren't you two adorable," Sheila said, making me blush.
"Alright, everyone, let's get started!" David cried, getting everyone's attention.
"Come on," Scott said, pulling me with him. "You're sitting beside me."
I laughed, my smile growing as he pulled out a chair for me. Sitting in it, I was surprised as Betty sat on the other side of me.
Looking to her, she smiled widely. "I cannot wait to get to know you more," she said, reaching over and squeezing my hand.
I smiled back, squeezing her hand as I replied, "I can't wait either."
Looking to David as he stood, I hoped, with all my heart, that the tiny thought in your head saying she was competition was...well, I wished I was wrong.

"I don't understand why you need those," Scott muttered, watching as I slapped on plastic gloves.
Laughing, I replied, "You see what this gel does to your hair?"
"Yeah, it changes the color," he responded. "Which is kinda weird."
"It is, but it's cool too," I'll told him, grabbing the bottle of the blue gel. It was strange that the gels made his hair different colors, I supposed, but it helped make Priestly fun. Plus, the gel aspect of it made it easier to actually style his hair. "Anyways, to get the color bright enough for the camera...well, if I didn't use gloves my hands would be the same color as your hair."
