When I arrived in the classroom, I was greeted by an amused looking Ciel and a somewhat annoyed looking Shuichi. Actually scratch that, he wasn't annoyed. It was more than that. Just standing by him felt like a completely bad idea. That hostility that I was feeling sure was.. dangerous. In fact, I was 100% sure that he'd do something to me when I wasn't looking. He wouldn't even look my way. And if we did manage to lock gazes, he'd just stare at me with that indifferent look on his face. He'd look even more annoyed every time we locked gazes.

I sighed in defeat, not knowing why he was angry. Ciel definitely knew why though. She was grinning at me the entire time I was trying to get Shuichi to look my way. And when it finally hit me that he wasn't going to budge, I heard her chuckling at my efforts. My "wasted" efforts. "Care to help me ?", I asked her sternly. I was slightly confused and irritated at the same time. I should have known that it was pointless to ask for her help. When I asked for an explanation, the only thing she did was shake her head saying, "Oh no, it's nothing, don't worry about it Shiori." My, how reassuring she was. So for the entirety of the class, I was left sitting there unable to focus on the lesson. And it was all because I was trying to figure out what I did wrong. Just what did I do ?

Eventually, that ended up being the only thing I could think about. During lunch break, Shuichi and Ciel went off somewhere while I went into the library to think about my life. While walking there, I did happen to catch something interesting. While walking through the halls, I was joined by two of my classmates. They were both giddy and happy as usual.

"Nee, nee, Hanamura-san", classmate no.1 said to me, "I know that it's a sudden thing to ask you but who was the guy that you were talking to this morning ?" "This morning ?", I asked back, not really paying attention, "What about it ?" "Oh you know", classmate no.2 said with an embarrassed smile, "That guy. The one that hugged you this morning." I stopped walking and watched as the both of them walk slightly past me. They stopped walking when they noticed me stop. Were they referring to.. Tsukiya by any chance ? "Uhh by 'guy', did you mean", I reluctantly mumbled, "..black hair ?" They both nodded. "So tell us Hanamura-san !", they said with a burst of excitement, "Who was he !?" I took a step back and placed a hand on my forehead. "Wait, wait", I replied, slowly, "You saw m.. him hug me ?" To my dismay they nodded again.

Oooooooooh. I see now. That makes sense.

"He was such a cute guy too", classmate no.2 stated with a dreamy smile, "You should introduce us to him sometime." "After all, you already have Minamino-san", classmate no.1 added with a nod, "That would be very inconvenient if you were having an affair and all..." I wasn't surprised when they both got quiet. Misunderstanding 101. This is how you do it. They both move foreword which caused me to step back again. "Are you ?", they whispered to me. My, how they sounded so skeptical. I shook my head. "No, no", I replied, "I would never do that to Shuichi..." Or would I ?

"Jah, then who was that mystery guy that you were hugging this morning ?"

The three of us turned around to see Sara slowly walking over to us. She was smirking with her arms crossed over her chest. I narrowed my gaze. "He", I replied sternly, "He was the one who hugged me." She shrugged. "That doesn't matter", she replied within an instant. "What do you want ?", I asked her. The tension grew between us. "Nothing, nothing", she replied as if she didn't care, "I just happened to overhear your conversation." Overhear ? I grinned. "How rude of you", I said, "To be eavesdropping when you're not supposed to." Sara turned to the classmates that stood behind me. "Was I eavesdropping ?", she asked them. My classmates reluctantly looked at each other. Of course she'd ask them. She knows how they'll react. After a short pause, classmate no.1 said, "You were", in a strong, yet faint voice. Sara, who was taken by surprise, huffed. I grinned and turned to them.

"I'll see you later then", I said, noticing the uneasy look on classmate no.2's face. She nodded her head and reached for classmate no.1's arm. "Jah", she said hesitantly, "We'll see you around then." I nodded and watched as they moved past Sara and continued to head to wherever they were going. After they were out of sight, I didn't make an effort to turn back to Sara. "I take it that there is something you need ?", I asked softly. The sound of her footsteps got closer. Pretty soon she was standing right beside me. "Is that all you have to ask every time we see each other ?", she said with a hint of disappointment. I didn't nod but I frowned when I looked her way. "You've been awfully close lately", I added in quietly. She must've heard because she that smirk on her face didn't disappear. She moved in front of me. "Nee, Hanamura", she said, eyeing my scarf suspiciously, "That scarf. What is it for ?" The way she was looking at it made it obvious. She was trying to change the subject. "Am I not allowed to wear one ?", I asked her back. To my response, she tried to look like I just hurt her. But then she laughed. "How cruel", she said as she took a step towards me, "I just wanted to know.." I took a step back the moment her voice began to fade. She had lunged foreword, probably aiming to grab my scarf. However, instead of grabbing my scarf, she grabbed my hair. There was a surprised look on her face when she realized that she had missed. I narrowed my gaze, only to glare at her.

"You appear to have reached for the wrong thing", I said sharply. She grinned and immediately let go when she realized, putting her hands up as if she had just gotten caught by someone. "Oops", she said, her voice slightly surprised. I watched her carefully. "What were you..", I began to say. But before I could finish my sentence, Sara had already walked past me. My eyes followed her but I didn't move. She raised a hand and waved. "Jah nee", I heard her say before she disappeared.

A sudden uneasiness appeared in my heart. I looked down at the lock of hair that she had touched. I took one of my hair ties and separated it from the other strands of my hair. It looked like nothing was wrong with it, but there was something about the way she was acting when she had reached foreword. It had all happened so quickly but there was something I was able to take note of. As she moved, she seemed to be intrigued by something. There was a slight reluctance.

However, intrigued in what ?
