Edd's POV

It is about noon when Kevin gets home from his job interview.
Rave had already left to go to university for the day, but he was nice enough to let me stick around and wait for Kev to get here.

"Hello Pumpkin!" I greet when I see him walk in.

It's lonely sitting in an apartment, even watching Netflix got lonely after a whole season of a good show.

"Hey Babe," Kevin greets me with a smile.

"How did the interview go?"

He smiles, "Great! They want me to start work in a couple days."

"That's amazing!" I squeel.

Kevin chuckles, "I think you are more excited than I am."

I blush, "Sorry."

"Don't be. I think it is super cute, Babe."

Him saying this results in me blushing even more."

He chuckles, "Wanna go get our boxes for our apartment?"

I nod, "Yes please."

When we walk into the dimly lit building the smell of diesel fuel hits my nose.

The walls are bare with the exception of holes the size of staples from the once hanging posters that now laid on the floor crumpled up.

The floor sloped down and creaked as my feet hit the hard wooden floor as we made our way to the front desk.

"It's homey," Kevin cracked a joke making me roll my eyes. My uncomfortableness in this place was obvious.

The front desk was made of some kind of wood that had been polished over, but overtime or people picking at it, the top had began to flake off and have carvings into it. There wasn't much on the desk itself either. It had a computer, a monitor, a few pens, and a bell.

"Perhaps we should try the bell," I suggest.

Kevin gives me a smile and hits the bell.

"ALRIGHT!" A husky voice from a back room yells loudly. "IMMA COMIN'! DON'T GET YOUR PANTIES IN A TWIST!"

Kevin and I are both taken back by the sudden shouting and rudeness.

When the tall buff man appears he seems annoyed, "What do ya' want?"

I try to answer by I couldn't speak without stuttering severally, so Kevin speaks instead.

"We have a shipment that we were hoping to pick up Sir."

The man hums for a second in thought and mutters, "Follow me."

He turns from us and goes through a door, we quickly go around the desk, and follow behind him.

The door lead to a huge garage that had crates upon crates full of things.

"Whatcha names?" He asks a few feet ahead of us.

"Kevin and Eddward," Kevin replies.

"Hmm," the man replies.

"Where ya' two from?"

Kevin replies and the man nods, "Well it'd be over here then."

He guides us to the right side of the garage.

"Here it is," he says.

I smile, Horray!

We shut the door to the trunk after putting our belongings in.
