Chapter 25- Say "Cheese"

Kevin's POV

After months of routine mornings of my alarm waking me up, getting me ready, and giving Edd a quick kiss before I left for work it was the Christmas season.

"Morning Mark! Morning Sean!" I yell as I walk into the store.

"Morning!" They yell in sync with each other making me laugh.

"You two are too cute," I comment as I begin stalking up the shelves.

Both boys blush and Mark grabs the Irish man's hand.

Today wasn't a busy day for the store considering it is Christmas season and everyone is out buying gifts, so when all of their lunch breaks end they just lounge around the shop area talking, it's not like they'd get in trouble because the two men own the store.

"The store isn't that popular today," I comment wanting something for us to talk about.

"Yeah, well we are hoping to do some advertising soon," Mark replies.

"Yeah, speaking of which," Sean starts.
"What are you and Edd doing this Saturday?"

"Umm," I hum as I think. "Double D might need to do some stuff for school, but as fats I know- we aren't doing anything. Why?"

Sean smiles, "How would you feel if you ladies, modeled in our advertisement?"

I laugh.

Sean frowns, "I'm being serious, Kevy-boy"

I swear I stopped breathing for a while out of fear when he said that, "Oh I'm sorry Sean, I didn't know."

"It's fine. I just- I wanted to know you if you would want to be the face of our store."

I chuckle at this, "I would have to talk to Double D about it.."

"I'm sure he will say yes," Mark replies.

I'm sure he will... Which is why I need to avoid telling him.. Not lie, but simply forget to bring it up..

The idea of being a model for an advertisement made me uneasy.

The next few hours fly past quickly and before I even knew it I was signing out of work getting ready to go home.

"Bye guys!" I yell to the couple.

They smile and yell goodbye to me as I leave.

"Hey Double D," I greet when he comes into our apartment after he finished his day at college.

He smiles in return, "Hey Pumpkin."

"How was school?"

"Good and work?"

"Interesting....?" I reply unsure of what word to use.

"How come?"

"Well the guys want to know if we'd be interested in modeling for their advertisement.."

Edd's smile grows, "really?"

I nod, sighing, I don't like where this is going. I honestly was hoping my boyfriend would be against it all... But if he wanted to-

Edd races over to me, sitting on my lap, and kissing me.

I kiss him back, putting my hands on either side of his neck pulling him closer gently.

He smiles into the kiss and then pulls away, "We should do it, babe."

His smile was infectious so I smiled in return, "Really?"

"Really," he replies smiling.

"Okay thanks! That will do for this outfit, go ahead and change, guys," the photographer says from behind the camera we have been in front of for the last few hours.

"What's this?" I ask laughing when I see what the next outfit was we were supposed to put on for the advertisement.

"What?" Edd asks me concerned as he slips his head out of the rainbow sweater.

All my thoughts tumble from my brain when I see how cute he looks. He was so clueless on how attractive he was.
I push one of his hairs out of his face and under his hat causing him to blush, I wonder what I looked like right now- a tomato?

"C'mon love birds!" Mark yells teasingly.

Edd's cheeks become a darker shade of red and as we walk back to our spot in front of the camera.
It took everything in me not to flip Mark off as Double D turned his head the other way.

"Say cheese!" The photographer yells before a bright light flashes and we hear a click.
