Chapter 25-
I stayed in my room all day, which wasn't really out of the ordinary to my family. I am always in my room, so no one came into ask me anything. Just suddenly I heard my phone buzz
**where the hell were you today? ** I smiled knowing Ashlyn never misses a beat, but I didn't answer. I couldn't lie to my best friend, and I wasn't ready to tell anyone about today. After about 10 minutes my phone buzzed again
**hello? Bitch you have an iPhone I can see when you check your messages"
Got dammit can't she see that I was having a sob fest. Oh wait no she can't she doesn't see me. To hell with it if I don't respond she'll come overland give me the business about not answering her.
**i stayed home today** I replied stating the obvious
**oh I thought you and Jarviss skipped together since he wasn't here either**
**me and him aren't together anymore** I say finally just putting it out there.
**what? Why? Do I need to call my cousins?**
This girl was crazy, she could honestly turn any situation into a laughable moment. **no ill be over in a little to tell you all about it**

When I reached Ashlyn's house she was sitting on the porch in a chair on her phone with her feet kicked back. I walked up to her and gave her a hug, she used her arms to push me back to where she can get a good look at me and said
"Girl you look like shit" she said.
"Thanks" I replied sarcastically.
We went inside her house, which wasn't to lavish but not the worst. It was only Ashlyn and her mom so they kept it pretty simple. We walked right to Ashlyn's room and sat on her bed.
"So spill" she said getting right to the good stuff.
"Well um Jarviss wasn't at school today" I say leaving out every detail about the cartel because as much as I loved Ashlyn the girl she wasn't the best at keeping secrets. "I went to his house to see if he was ok and there's this note saying he was leaving forever, and that I shouldn't look for him ever again. His mom came and took me to the airport and I let him have it. With that I left and I
Never looked back. The fact that he would leave me after I--- um, after I almost fell in love with him."
"Girl," Ashlyn said, "we don't love these hoes. And you know this. Girl I'm so sorry, but hey you found you right. Maybe that's what he was placed in you life for. He served his purpose and god removed him for the right persons come."
This all sounded great and I know she was probably giving great advice, but I didn't want the right person to come, I wanted Jarviss to be the right person. I wanted him to always be there like he promised. I guess it all was a lie, whatever. I sat in Ashlyn's room on her bed zoned out while she was painting her nails and talking I just couldn't focus on anything but Jarviss.
