Chapter 27-
Sydney was killing me with all the tugging she was doing on my hair I was about to slap her.
"All done" she said. I gotta say the girl was a pro at that hair and makeup. She straightened my hair so it was down to my butt. She even cut me some side bangs that kinda hid my big forehead. My dress was absolutely amazing. It was a high low red dress, the high part was fitting and hugged all my curves but the low part was a sheer material that just flowed. I looked stunning, I felt like the most beautiful girl on the outside.
"Wow" was all I can say. I was just soo shocked.
"Your welcome" she said as she sat on the bed and pulled out the latest issue of seventeen magazine.
"Uhh what are you doing?" I asked.
"Waiting until a good time to leave and show up fashionably late to reveal my latest masterpiece." She said nonchalantly
"The hell you are. I'm the judge and your the MC so get your ass up before I leave you there reading that magazine" I say laughing at her crazy self.
She got up and we headed straight for my car. I carefully got in making sure I didn't rip my dress or scuff my black pumps. At the show there was so many people already there. I walked and took my seat at the judges table. After about another 15 minutes Sydney c,e out and did her thing working the crowd. I was proud of her.

After about 45 minutes of people showcasing there talent Sydney came back out turned and winked towards me.
"Ok guys, this year were gonna do something a little different. These judges sit in those chairs and judge everyone who walks on the stage, but how,any of you think they have what it takes to get on this stage and move you guys." The crowd screamed all kinds of things that were in audible. "Alright well one of our judges have volunteered to get up here and sing for you guys. Many of you know her well, and if you don't you will after tonight. The one and only Madame Butterfly Jr herself. Give it up for my good friend Dominique. I moved from behind the judges table and someone from the backstage crew handed me a mic. I strutted my way onstage and stood right in the middle. People were going crazy and yelling out now amazing I looked. I smiled and waved at everyone and then cued for the music to begin.
I'd like to say we gave it a try
I'd like to blame it all on life
Maybe we just weren't right, but that's a lie, that's a lie
And we can deny it as much as we want
But in time our feelings will show
Cause sooner or later
Well wonder why we gave up
The truth is everyone knows
Almost, almost is never enough
So close to being in love
If I would have known that you wanted me
The way I wanted you
Then maybe we wouldn't be two worlds apart
But right here in each others arms
And we almost knew what love was
But almost is never enough
If I could change the world over night
There'd be no such thing as goodby
