Chapter 3- A little to Late

I pulled up to school and saw my girls standing in the middle of my parking space. Sydney and Daneisha was playing in front of my car. I parented like I was gonna hit them and blew my horn. They finally moved. We still had 15 minutes so I gave Sydney my keys and walked over to Sam and his friends. As soon as he saw me he began walking towards me. I smiled he maynotbethebest boyfriend but damn this boy looked good. He had coffee colored skin and if you know me I like my coffee with lots of cream. Lol. He was wearing a fitted white v neck that showed off his perfectly toned muscles. He had on a pair of black pants and grey Gucci sneakers. He embraced me in his arms and with a swift kiss on the lips he said.

"Hey baby"

"Hey" I replied dryly.

"Ooo, you ok."

"Yeah"

"You wanna come over to my house to talk about it after school?" he said imitating a baby voice.

"No im good besides I have to pick up Delaney after school" I said half lying and half telling the truth. I mean how can I look him in the eyes and tell him my problem is you. I don't feel nothing in this relationship. I cant do that to him it just doesn't feel right. I think time will just heal all wounds.

"Hey come stand with me and my friends" he said.

"I kinda wanted to stand with my girls around my car."

"Just come on" he insisted.

Although I really wanted to go with my girls to the car I went anyways. I stood there for about ten minutes with his friends listening to what he wanted me to listen to, and the worst part was I had no say in the whole conversation. I was so relieved when the morning bell rang. I rushed to homeroom without a goodbye or anything.
